I. History

Solaren Philippines,Inc is a corporation approved by SEC and established last


October 28, 2019 which is primarily engaged with the manufacturing of Solar Panels
to distribute ove the Philippines as renewable source of energy. It is ISO 9001:2015
certified whic focus on the Quality Management System and continuous
improvement and help to strive Environmental Impacts Solutions involving safety of
our manpower's. Solaren came from the word " Solar " and " Ren " which means
Solar and Renewable.

Mission

To manufacture solar panel and used as renewable energy to reduce energy


consumption and environmetal impact.

Vision

To be a topand leading solar panel manufacturing in the Philippines. To promote a


healtier planet and lower electric bills in every household and companies or
establihment

Regular Employment

Employee has been engagedto perform activities which are usually necessary in the
usual business or trade of the employer in the usual course of business. A person in
full time employment for any authorized carier.

An employee benefits package include all the non wages, banefits, like insurance
and paid time off, provided by an employer. There are some types of employer
benefits that are mandated by law, including minimun wage, overtime leave under
tha family, medical leave act unemployment, and workers compensation and
disability. Benefits are indirect and non cash payments within a compensation
package and that are provided by SOLAREN in addition to salary to create a
competitive package for the potential employee.

Probitionary Employement

This is given to a newly hired employee. The standard Probitionary period six (6)
months. The employee's performance during this probationary period will be
reviewed before the end of six (6) months. A probationary employee may be
terminated anytime for valid reasons as stipulated in the Code of Conduct and in
accordance with the Labor Code.

Contractual Employment

This is given to those who are hired for occasional or seasonal work convering a
limited period of time, or those employed as a temporary replacement for a regular
employee on leave, or for specific project with definite item through designated
employment agencies. If a contractual status of employment is converted from
temporary to probationary, he must undergo a probationary employment of six (6)
months.

Sesonal Employment

In seasonal employment of SOLAREN, we open positions in a chosen job or


work that are available for only a portionof the year, in that case we can minimize the
workload occurs during certain times of the year, seasonal positions are typically full
time jobs. However, since the campany is more efficient in a hot weather, we hire
seasonal employees for a reasons including meeting peak demand. For example
SOLAREN will hire additional employees when the heat impact release more solar
cells that needed to stabilize or mobilize. So SOLAREN will hire seasonal employees
during summer weather.

V. General Policies and Procedures

Working Hours

Regular working hours shall be eight (8) hours a day or a total of forty eight (48)
hours a week, and regular working days are from Monday to Saturday except those
declared by law as legal, regular and special holidays, Sunday will be considered as
Restday, Work Schedule for Dayshift and Nightshift will be 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM and
8:PM to 5:AM. Correspondingly, overtime period will be rendered at 5pm to 800:PM
for Dayshift and 500:AM to 8:00AM for Nightshift and shall be paid 1.25 or 125% of
basic hourly rate of the employee.

Meal Break

Coffee break is granted to the employee with pay and scheduled 10:00 AM to
10:15 AM, 3:00 PM to 3:15 PM for Dayshift and 10:00 PM to 10:15 PM, 3:00 AM to
3:15 AM for Nightshift. Meal break is scheduled one (1) hour which is 12:00 PM to
1:00 PM for Dayshift and 12:00 AM to 1:00 AM for nightshift but considered without
pay. During breaktim period every employee is encouraged to use free wifi given and
privalaged, to use the even with television provided to enjoye and relaxed.

Restday

Employees will have atleast one (1) day of rest day in every workweek. If an
employee is required to work on their rest day. they are entitled to an additional
compensation of 30% Therefore, the employees gets paid of 100% of their basic
salary rate and additional 30% for working on their rest day.

Holiday Pays

Full-time employees will be paid for the holidays. On an special holiday,


employees are paid 100 % regular daily wage and additional 30% for working on
special holiday. If the special holiday falls to their scheduled rest day, the additional
compensation will be 50% of their regular daily wage with a total of 150%.

Employees who are called in to work on regular holiday will receive a double
payment. Employees get paid of 100% regular daily wage and additional 100% for
working regular holiday. If the regular holiday to their scheduled rest day, employees
will be paid additional compensation of 30% of their regular holiday rate 200% with a
total of 230%.

Official Business

An employee who is required by his department head or immediate superior to


go on official business for at least one (1) full day, this accomplish the exist permit
form daily approval by his/her department head atleast one (1) business day before
the specific date. An employee who is in official business shall received an
allowance of Php 200.00 for local travel (out of town) or Php 10,000 for overseas
and life insurance, shuttle service if not available, transportation is refundable.

Production Supervisor - oversees the labour of individuals manufacturing a


product, typically in a factory or industrial workplace.

VI. COMPENSATION

Salary / Wage

Employees shall received their salary based on daily payment for supervisor,team
leader, and top management. It shall be the company's basic policy to review the
employee's salary based on each associate annual performance. Annual
performance shall be computed, evaluated using Annual Performance Appraisal
through this formula: Annual Performance Evaluation (%) × base rate. Annual
performance evaluation percentage is dependent on immediate superior's rate and
base rate is allocated depends on business condition of the company necessary for
each employees position.

Employee is promoted as per immediate superior endorsement and salary will


increase through this formula : % evaluation rate × Basic Salary ÷ 12, which is
reviewed every two (2) years.

Service Incentive Leave

Each regular employees shall received an incentive such as Vacation leave


(15) days, Sick leave (15) days, Birthday leave (1) day, Emergency leave (5) days,
which is beneficial to them. Vacation leave and sick leave shall be convertible to
cash after fiscal year of January to December and to received through payslip on
January of the following year. To avail the benefits of Vacation leave and Birthday
leave the employees should file atleast two (2) days in advanced before the intinted
days of leave. Other incentive leave such as birthday leave, Emergency leave, are
not refundable and shall be used as needed.

Maternity / Paternity Leave

Maternity Leave

Primarily governed by the Social Security Law integrating benefits into the
Social Security System, and implementing SSS Circulars.

A female member of SSS shall be entitled to maternity benefits it: a) she is
employed at the time of delivery, miscarriage or abortion: b) she gives birth or suffers
an abortion or miscarriage; c) she has given required notification to the SSS through
the company ; and d) atleast 3 monthly maternity contributions have been paid within
the 12 months period immediately preceding the semester of contingency.

The daily maternity benefits shall be paid for a compensable period of one
hundred five (105) days in case of normal delivery or Ceasarian, abortion or
miscarriage sixty (60) days.

As soon as the employee becomes pregnant, shall immediately inform the


Company of such pregnancy through a Maternity Notification Form (available from
HRD), duly accomplished.

The maternity leave application of the employee shall be filed with the HRD
supported by a certificate signed by physician or midwife showing the probable or
actual date of childbirth or the date of abortion. The company shall be reimbursed by
SSS after it has advanced the payment of SSS maternity benefit to the employee.
The employee shall furnish the company such information or documents as the
company may deem necessary to secure such reimbursement.

Paternity Leave

Paternity Leave For purposes of Republic Act no. 8187, paternity leave refers to
the benefits granted to a married male employee allowing him not to report for work
for seven(7 days) but Continuous to earn the compensation thereof, on the condition
that his spouse has delivered a child or suffered a miscarriage for purposes of
enabling him to effectively lend support to his wife in her period of recovery and/or in
the nursing of the newly born child.

Bereavement Leave

The company will give bereavement assistance to the family of regular


employee who has died (first family only ) if married the husband or wife or
children then if single parents or siblings but if widowed children will be
befeneficiaries. Amounting Php 10,000 for the natural or accidental death. If death is
work related, the company will give Php 50,000. All regular employees, shall be paid
for bereavement Leave of (7) days
