TRUEING THE PATTERN

1. Match the shoulders.


I can see my front shoulder is bigger and the
neck joining is pointy.
So I added a new point in between extra
shoulder line and blend a new line.
For the pointy neck edge, just smoothen the
line

2.Match the Side Seams


If not matched, mark a point in between and blend a
new line.

3. Match the Skirt Side Seam
If not matched, make adjustments on the hem.

FABRIC PREPARATION
Pre wash the fabric
FABRIC CALCULATION FORMULA Steam the fabric to pre shrink
To determine the fabric required for your project, pull the opposite corners of
you need to calculate:  selvedge to neaten the grain line.
2 x length + length of the sleeve + quarter or half this is called blocking.

Back Top : 2 pieces 


Front Top: 1 piece cut on fold
Back skirt: 2 pieces
Front Skirt 1 piece cut on fold
Back facing: 2 pieces on main or lining fabric and also 2 pieces on interfacing.
Front Facing: 1 piece on fold on main or lining and also 1 piece on interfacing.

SEWING INSTRUCTIONS
Pressing is the key to PERFECT FINISH. Always press on each and
every step after sewing darts, seams and everything.

Press the interfacing to the top patterns


Sew the darts on back top, front top and back skirt.
Join the pleats on front skirt. you can also make these into gathers or
tucks  instead of pleats.
Join the waist lines on both front and back pieces.
Join the shoulders for main pieces as well as facing pieces.
Join facings to the main pieces at armhole and neckline right sides
together.
Turn inside out.
Join the Side Seam.
Attach zipper on center back.
Sew the hem.
Finish the seams with overlock stitch or zigzag stitch. You can also use
pinking shears to prevent seams from fraying.
Finally press the Dress and you are done!
