ACKNOWLEDGEMENT
The internship I had with the Le Amoretto Café Bar and Restaurant was a great chance for learning and
professional development. Therefore, I consider myself as a very lucky individual as I was provided with
an opportunity to be part of it. I am also grateful for having a chance to meet so many awesome people
and professionals who led me though this internship period.
Bearing in mind previous I am using this opportunity to express my deepest gratitude and special thanks
to Ms. Jezel Ann Yu who in spite of being extraordinarily busy with her duties, took time out to hear,
guide and keep me on the correct path and allowing me to carry out my project at their esteemed
organization and extending during the training.
I express my deepest thanks to Mr. Rey Funtanar, my supervisor and Sir Paul Mercado, for taking part in
useful decisions and giving advices and guidance and arranged all facilities to make life easier. I choose
this moment to acknowledge their contribution gratefully.
Nobody has been more important to me in the pursuit of this internship than the members of my family. I
would like to thank my parents, whose love and guidance are with me whatever I pursue. They are the
ultimate role models. Most importantly, to our almighty god, for his unconditional love and for all the
blessings.

Your background OJT experience is very important when applying a job. Employers often asked about
the OJT experience and how it is related on the job you are applying for.
Most students have taken their OJT for granted, not realizing the importance of it can bring on their future

I was so embarrassed and that was the 1st
time In my life that a guy shouted at me in
front of many people. Sir Paul didn’t
mention to me, instead he said to me that I
can do mise en place there, I thought what
I’m doing is right. So there I cried for 2
hours at the kitchen. He confronted me and
say sorry but then it really hurts that time.

CONCLUSION
One main thing that I have learned through this internship is time management
skills as well as self-motivation. There are times that my legs feel dumb because of
standing for almost 8 hours a day. Since I have no experience in this field it’s been
very hard for me to do this, as if there’s easy in this world. My first week is the
most stressful week I had so far. I cried, and was ready to give up my dreams
again. As times goes by I didn’t notice that I enjoyed my stay during at the
restaurant and don’t want to leave.
This training gave me an inspiration to be more serious about life, I remember one
time, my shift leader told me “it’s so hard to work but think about it. When you
wanted to relax outside you can, because you have all the money. But then, if you
don’t have money how can you do that? You will just be lonely” and that really
hits me. My shift leader made me feel like the part of his family. Really, I was so
blessed to have him.
On the job training is indeed important for us students, we need to know what kind
of work we are facing and the universities provided that. To the one that is reading
this, you can do this. If we can you can do it do. Don’t lose hope.
