A Report on How To Stay Healthy.

The article of The 5 Keys to Staying Healthy(April 25, 2016) which written by
Elson M. Haas in the Staying Healthy with NEW Medicine that published in Total
Health Magazine is present about 5 ways to stay healthy in this 21st century . Health
had become a basic requirement to success in our life. As without a healthy body
we cannot do anything Elson gives the fact that 5 important keys that can affect our
health which are nutrition, exercise, stress , sleep and attitude. He also gives several
ways that can overcome these problems. While the article of HEALTH AND
FITNESS which written by Archana that published in
https://www.indiacelebrating.com/article/article-on-health-and-fitness/ states that the
definition of health reasons that cause us unhealthy today and the solutions.

Through these two articles, I realise that the most important way to stay
healthy is taking care in our eating. As in in these two articles the first point that they
mentioned about are eating and nutrition. Hence, if you want to be healthy you
should having a balanced diet and taking good care about your meal everyday.
However, people do not take care about their meals everyday especially the young
generation nowadays. They avoid having some healthy food such as fruits and
vegetables but consuming the unhealthy food such as junk food, processed food and
soft drink which are more tasty. Thus, although the Health Ministry had given out
many awareness campaign to the public but they still turn down with an deaf ear. In
conclusion, to keep a healthy body try to having a good eating habits and a balanced
diet.

Second, people nowadays are lack of exercise. As in this modern century we


are sitting more than walking . Thus, we should do exercise regularly to maintain our
health. Exercise can help us in controlling weight, help in boosting the immune
system, and directly increases our stamina and energy levels. So, try to do exercise
at least 30 minutes a day as it can help improve mood and energy, promote better
sleep, and reduce anxiety, stress and depression which Elson suggested in his
article. Some exercises suggested by Elson are stretching and aerobic activity.
Stretching is for flexibility, it is also good before and after aerobics. Aerobic activity
such as running, hiking, biking, dancing or swimming is for endurance cardiovascular
health and detox (sweating). Cardio activity also supports the feel good, mood
enhancing "endorphins". As these days sparing time for exercise has become difficult
for people. In order to still maintain the balance, we can walk or use cycle instead of
driving at reasonable distance, use stairs instead of elevators or escalators, walk
while on call and compensate the available time with the benefits of exercising.

Besides that, I have also found that in the article of HEALTH AND FITNESS
writen by Archana hygiene and sanitation are also major factors that affect the health
of a person. Sitting at a place that is not properly clean can instantly make a person
unwell and lead to various diseases. Good personal hygiene is one of the most
effective ways to protect ourselves and others from many illnesses. For examples:
wash your hands with soap before eating.

which written by Elson stated that:” sleeping is perhaps our most under-appreciated
health resource and we often don't recognize its importance to our overall wellbeing
until we're not sleeping properly. The ariticle stated that sleeping is a national
problem in US.At least 75 million US adults have sleep disorders and more than 25
percent of adults take a prescription medication to help them sleep. Even low levels
of chronic fatigue can create reduced performance and accidents, particularly while
driving.” While the article of HEALTH AND FITNESS writen by Archana stated that
“the requirement of sleep for children is high, their sleeping hours are around 12-14
hours and a normal adult requires 7-8 hours of sound sleep daily. “ So, to take care
your health having enough sleep is very important.Maybe you can listen to some light
music to help you to sleep.

All in all, health is determined by what we eat, how we live, our choice of
leisure pursuits and what we do to take care our health. So, take good care to our
body so that we can have a healthy body. As health is the biggest asset in our life.I
suggest that these 2 articles should be read by the young generation as they
included problems and solutions that taking good care of our health in our life.
