To our ever-loving adviser Maam Hechanova distinguished guests, our ever-supportive

parents and fellow classmates, a pleasant afternoon to all of you.

The journey to success is different for every person. Sometimes it does take long, but
giving up should never be an option. When you feel like you’re losing hope because you
think you have failed a lot of times, keep this in mind “I have not failed. I have just found
10,000 ways that won’t work,” a quote from Thomas Alva Edison when he was creating
the light bulb. He never lost sight of what he wanted to achieve. He was diligent and
honest with his labor. He never gave up until he was able to meet his goal.

First of all, I would just like to say it is a huge honor to be standing here today. To be
able to stand here in front of you and do this speech is such an honor. Believe me, it
was not easy. I had to balance myself between academic requirements, extra-curricular
activities, and the time I spent socializing with my family and friends. I sometimes would
have sleepless nights and had to burn the midnight candle to accomplish my tasks. In
the end, it was all worth it.

There have been many times when I thought I wouldn't make it till end of
schoolyear but the fact that I am still here speaks measures for my personal health and
sanity. There are so many people I would like to thank.

I would like to thank our subject teachers for helping us to become a well-rounded
person. They offered us with a lot of recreational activities helping us develop our skills
and talents. I would also like to thank our parents for being unceasingly patient, they
were always there for us. They never gave up on us and they gave as an infinite
support. Thank you to my home base teacher, Maam Hechanova for the great advises
that we will be able to apply to our everyday living.. I would like to thank you maam for
not only being our teacher but a good friend as well. I would like to thank my class,
GRADE 9 STE A, for being cooperative during class time for always being there for us.
Even if we had our ups and downs, we still got each other’s backs. Together, we overcame
every problem and challenges which have now become the milestones for us.

One last time, thank you to everyone who has led us to this moment. I think I speak for
all my dearest classmates when I say we definitely deserve this.

Once again, a pleasant afternoon to everyone and congratulations to all the honoring
students…… WEE DID IT!!!!
