A chronological timeline of events in Dark. A wormhole in the Winden Caves intertwines three points in time, causing connections between events set 33 years apart.

Season 1 is set in November of 1953, 1986 and 2019.

interrupts a meeting at the school to tell them "It's
going to happen again."[1]

Jonas (adult) sneaks into Jonas' (teen) room and

Nielsen.

Jonas (adult) arrives from 2019 through cave, visits
H. G. Tannhaus to talk to him about time.

father's letter, where he reveals his past of time
travel and his true identity; Mikkel Nielsen.

November 8 Regina is diagnosed with breast cancer.

Katharina finds out about Ulrich and Hannah's
affair.

Jonas (teen) emerges from the caves from 2019. 9:17PM: Jonas finds the wormhole in the cave and
travels to 1986. Lights flicker and the ground
shakes.

A deceased Yasin appears in the
bunker from 1986. Helge drags his
body to the construction site.

November 10 The bodies of Erik and Yasin are
found buried in a pile of sand in the
nuclear power plant construction
site.

Egon Tiedemann questions Helge about Mads'
disappearance and they agree to do an interview in
two days.
Jonas (teen) looks for Mikkel at the hospital. He
encounters his older self who tells him not to
interfere in the past.
Mikkel and Hannah meet at the hospital.
Jonas travels back to 2019 through the caves.
Yasin is transported to 1953 through the chair.
1986
Jonas (adult) comes back to visit Tannhaus,
discusses time travel and asks him to repair the
apparatus so he can destroy the wormhole created
by the power plant incident.
Tronte and Peter check the time in the Triquetra
notebook, which matches the time of Jonas' time
travel.
Ulrich discovers that the dead boy found in the
forest could be his brother Mads.
2019
Jana sees Helge (adult) and recognizes him from
1986.
Charlotte executes a search warrant at the nuclear
power plant, finds the welded shut metal door and
traces of paint from the nuclear waste barrels.
Ulrich tries to extract information from Helge, who is
very upset.
Helge runs away from the nursing home and time
travels through the caves to 1986 to stop his past
self.
Ulrich comes back to see Helge and finds the book
"A Journey Through Time". He follows Helge into
the caves and is transported to 1953.
Jonas arrives home from 1986, decides not to tell
Hannah about Michael's true identity, burns the
letter.
Charlotte investigates the bunker and finds a piece
of the old wallpaper from 1986.
2019
 Agnes Nielsen arrives to Winden
with her son Tronte.
Ulrich arrives from 2019 and visits
H. G. Tannhaus, shows him the "A
Journey Through Time" book and
leaves his phone behind.
Helge makes Claudia Tiedemann's
dog Gretchen run into the caves
and she disappears, is transported
to 1986.
Ulrich tries to kill Helge (child) to
prevent the future murders of the
children. He hides Helge in the
bunker.

Boris Niewald, on the run, arrives to Winden and

Noah prays with Greta Doppler.
Ulrich is arrested by Egon,
suspected of being responsible for
the Eric and Yasin's murders.
Helge (child) wakes up in the
November 11
bunker.
Claudia visits H. G. Tannhaus and
asks him to build the time
apparatus, saying it will set the
course of time straight.
adopts the identity of Aleksander Köhler. He hides a
bag with the fake passport, which Hannah finds.
Hannah tells Katharina that Regina was the one
who told the police that Ulrich had raped her. Ulrich
(teen) is released from the police station.
Aleksander rescues Regina from Ulrich and
Katharina.
Claudia Tiedemann (adult) finds her dog Gretchen,
who was lost in 1953.
Helge (elder) spies on his past self at the shack.
Helge (adult) and Noah adjust the chair in the
bunker. Helge says he wants to stop.
Egon goes to Helge's cabin for the interview, but
Helge hides.
Aleksander tries to get a job at the nuclear power
plant and is hired by Claudia to weld the metal door
to the barrels shut.
Claudia Tiedemann visits her grandson Bartosz
and tells him to give his mother Regina a photo.
Hannah blackmails Aleksander Tiedemann into
destroying Ulrich, since she has proof of his true
identity.
Regina enter Jonas' (adult) hotel room and sees his
notes on the wall.
Bartosz meets again with Noah, tells him his
predictions came true and he has thought about his
offer.
Jonas (adult) extracts a bit of substance from the
radioactive waste barrels in the truck.

Jonas (adult) comes back to see Tannhaus and

brings the substance to activate the apparatus.
Tronte tells Peter it will all soon be over and Mads
Helge (elder) tries to warn his younger self about

Jonas (adult) activates the apparatus in the caves,
trying to put an end to the 1953-1986-2019 time
loop and close the wormhole forever. This opens a
time portal in the bunker and makes the whole town
shake.
