What are the causes of Effects of Climate Change
It is the gradual heating of Earth’s surface, oceans and
atmosphere, is caused by human activity, primarily the
burning of fossil fuels that pump carbon dioxide, methane
and other greenhouse gases in to the atmosphere.
Glaciers are melting, sea levels are rising, cloud forests are
dying, and wildlife is scrambling to keep pace. It has
become clear that humans have caused most of the past
century’s warming by releasing heat-trapping gases as we
power our modern lives. Called greenhouse gases, their
level are higher now than at any time in the last 800,000
years.

What is the Greenhouse Effect?
It is the warming that happens when certain gases in
Earth’s atmosphere trap heat. These gases let in light but
keep heat from escaping. Sunlight shines onto the Earth’s
surface, where the energy is absorbed and then radiate
back into the atmosphere as heat. In the atmosphere,
greenhouse gas molecules trap some of the heat, and the
rest escapes into space. The more greenhouse gases
concentrate in the atmosphere, the more heat gets locked
up in the molecules.
The Earth would be much colder if not because of the
greenhouse effect and this is what keeps the Earth’s
climate livable.

 Ice melt which is one of the primary manifestations of

landslides and other sudden land collapses and glacier
retreat.

As ice melts, sea levels rise and as levels of CO2
increase, the ocean absorb some of that gas, which
increases the acidity of seawater.
 Plants and Animals.
Many species of plants and animals are already moving
northward or to higher altitudes as a result of warming
temperatures, according to a report from the National
Academy of Sciences.

Solar
The combined weather events can cause severe crop
radiation from
failures and livestock shortages worldwide and this
sunspots and may, in turn can create havoc in international food
solar wind markets and spark famines.
The American Medical Association has reported in
increase in mosquito-borne diseases like malaria and
dengue fever and an outbreak of Zika virus for climate
change could make higher-latitude areas habitable for
mosquitos that spreads the disease, experts said.
