For Technical Interview only: You do not need to bring your tools or equipment to this assessment. For Practical assessment only:
You are invited to bring your own hand tools to the practical assessment. However, if you are travelling this may not be possible. If
you are unable to bring your own hand tools, VETASSESS will ensure tools are available. You must also wear protective clothing and
equipment (PPE) during the assessment. You are required to wear a long sleeved shirt, long pants and safety boots. You may be
refused entry if you are not wearing PPE.
Terms and conditions of entry

1. You must agree to the following:

i. You must follow the instructions given by VETASSESS staff or representatives on the day of your assessment.
ii. If you are asked to leave the assessment venue, you must do so.
iii. You must not do anything which puts your safety or the safety of others at risk.
2. You cannot change your nominated occupation on the day of your assessment. If you do not attempt an assessment
because you feel you should be assessed in another occupation, you will be considered to have forfeited your payment and
will need to re-apply.
3. If you have any special requirements, you must notify VETASSESS at least two weeks prior to the assessment date and
provide supporting information such as a medical certificate or a statutory declaration.
4. Your photo and photos of your assessment may be taken on the day of your assessment.
Refund policy

Cancellation
If you cancel your assessment more than two weeks before the scheduled date, your fee will be refunded minus a $200 - $500
administration fee, depending on the amount of notice you provide to VETASSESS.

If you cancel your assessment less than two weeks before the scheduled date, your fee will not be refunded.

Assessment date transfer

You may request to transfer the date of your assessment two weeks prior to your scheduled assessment date. Any change to the
assessment date is subject to availability. If you apply to transfer the date of your assessment less than two weeks prior to the
scheduled assessment date, you will be required to pay for a new practical assessment.

Exemptions
If you cancel your practical assessment less than two weeks before the scheduled date, and are able to provide evidence of a
serious cause for this cancellation, you may be eligible to receive a refund of your assessment fee minus an administration fee.
Serious causes include serious illness, loss or bereavement, hardship or trauma. Supporting evidence must be supplied within 5
working days of your assessment date.
