Bharamagoudar, S. R., Geeta, R. B., & Totad, S. G. (2013). Student Information

Management System (SIMS) provides a simple interface for maintenance of student
information. It can be used by educational institutes or colleges to maintain the records of
students easily. The creation and management of accurate, up-to-date information regarding a
students’ academic career is critically important in the university as well as colleges. Student
information system deals with all kind of student details, academic related reports, college
details, course details, curriculum, batch details, placement details and other resource related
details too.

According to Thomson, William K. "Information management system." U.S. An

information storage, searching and retrieval system for large (gigabytes) domains of archived
textual dam. The system includes multiple query generation processes, a search process, and a
presentation of search results that is sorted by category or type and that may be customized
based on the professional discipline (or analogous personal characteristic of the user), thereby
reducing the amount of time and cost required to retrieve relevant results.

Lim, K. (2013). U.S, Networked computer systems have evolved over the years from
simple serially connected computer systems to massively networked computer systems
connected via large internal networks, intranets, and the Internet. During this evolution, many
different concepts were developed to manage how users are granted access to electronic
information stored in the computer systems. How a computer system determines if a user or an
application has permission to access information (such as a file) has been a complex problem
to solve.

Mei-shan, J., Chang-li, Q., & Jing, L. (2012, April). Student Information Management
System realization including establishment and maintenance of the database and front-end
application development. This paper describes the system functional and architecture design,
and emphasizes the system's functionality, database design and functional modules, etc. Fully
functional, flexible and convenient application and friendly interface provide a good guarantee
for student information management.

Mazza, R., & Milani, C. (2004, November). Gismo. In earlier days supervision system
was cumbersome to detect the location of student and it is very tedious task to take attendance
manually. As technology has advanced, integrating the monitoring system with an automation
technology will provides more convenient way in monitoring the student
