Asked what they wanted Him to do for them Jerusalem must acknowledge need for Jesus (Zech 12:10)

They want their eyes opened Eyes of understanding opened to take in the Light (Isa 60:1-14)

Jesus had compassion and touched their eyes Mercy and grace extended to Jerusalem (Zech 1:16-17)

Immediately their eyes received sight Spirit poured out on Zion; receive light (Ps 118:27; Isa 32:9-
20; Zech 12:10; Prov 1:23)

They followed Him Followers of Jesus as King; center of learning for nations (Ps
102:18-22; Mic 4:2)
