MORPHOSYNTACTIC ANALYSIS AS A METHOD IN IMPROVING

Participants

In this study, the Senior High School English teachers of Santa Ana National

High School will serve as participants to collect important data. Table 1 illustrates the

profile of the participants.

The researcher will use a specific technique under the non-probability sampling

which is known as judgmental sampling or also called as purposive sampling technique.

This sampling technique uses the judgment of an expert in selecting cases or it selects

cases with a specific purpose in mind. To identify eligible participants, the researcher will

use purposive sampling, in which participants will be selected according to

predetermined criteria relevant to the research objectives, so that they could provide

information that would be particularly relevant to the setting and research questions

(Palys, 2008). A judgmental, selective, or subjective sampling is also known as

purposive sampling. The researcher will float an interview that would end if the answers

of the participants are repeating.

Crossman (2017) stated that this technique in sampling is efficient because it lets

you reach a target participants instantly, and where sampling for proportionality is not the

main concern.

National High School.

2. The participant must be a full- fledged English major teacher.

3. The participant must have 3 years of English teaching experience.
