1) The sum of a particular two digit number is 15. If this number's digits are reversed,
the number is increased by 9. What is this number?

2) Traveling to Japan, a plane encounters a tailwind and averages 283 mph.


However, on the return trip the plane, now traveling against the same wind
averages 215 mph. Find the speed of the wind and the speed of the plane in no wind.

3) Tickets to the fair cost $7 for children and $11 for adults. On Friday 177 people
enter the fair and they collected $1631. What number of children and what number
of adults attended?

4) An exam worth 340 points contains 46 questions. Some questions are worth 6 points,
and the others are worth 8 points. How many 6 point and 8 point questions are on the
test?
