Objectives
At the end of the activity, you should be able to:
- calculate your personal carbon emission.
- take an action to lessen the carbon emission in various ways.
Materials
Carbon Footprint Checklist
Manila Paper, Marker, Crayons
Procedures
1. Each member will answer the Carbon footprint checklist (see attached checklist) and compute each
carbon emission. Get the total score and see the description of your score.
2. Each group should present a line graph on Manila paper. (Note: Use crayons to represent each
member’s carbon emission. Get the group’s over-all score of carbon emission.
3. Each group should choose the top 2 highest sources of carbon emission. Then, the groups will provide
ways to lessen the carbon emission.

Interpretation:
20 – 30: Be happy! You are a Climate Hero! Keep up the good work.
31 – 45: It’s Alright! You can still do more to be a Climate Hero.
46 – 60: Don’t be sad. Just start to reduce your carbon footprint. Do it now.
