INTRODUCTION
Most of students didn’t know where they all genes came from because of our
today’s generation. We are all surrounded by machines and technologies especially the
young ones so they don’t have enough interest about where they get their genes and traits
but we believe that there have few children’s that confused of where their traits came from
and if they’re inherited in their mother or father. So, we came up to a survey to know and
help those people to know where their get their genes to have those color of their eyes or
the color of their hair. This will be their source of information to know where they get their
skin color or the look of their faces or something they are curious about. This survey also
help them to have more knowledge or idea on how they get their trait and where they
inherited and also this will help those kids to find out if they are a true kids of their parents
or not. At least they will know that information while they are still young and find their
I. CONTENT
The respondents or participants of our study are the Senior High School student
of San Sebastian College Recoletos, Canlubang. We will choose randomly a fifty (50)

located at Wisdom Avenue, Carmel Ray Industrial Park 1 Canlubang, Calamba City
Laguna. This aims to determine the dominant and recessive traits that the participants
have.
C. DURATION
The study will be conducted from November 28, 2019 to December 12, 2019. One
(1) week is going to lend for data collection strategy and another one (1) week for data
Through the findings of this study, the researchers provided information on how
genetics work for his or her parents. Specifically, this shall be beneficial to the following
groups:
To the researchers to have a deeper knowledge on how genetic and crossing over
traits works.
To the respondents to have a better understanding how genetics work for his or
her parents
To the future researchers, this will serve as their reference and can be a guide for

with them the researchers decided to do it with the Senior High School students.
The researchers used Google Forms to conduct a survey. Instead of using printed
