1. Conduct class routines- days of the week song, phonics song.
2. Recall on the phonemes learnt in the previous lesson.
3. Introduce the phonemes- ck, e, u and r. Get pupils to say aloud the
sound and words shown.
4. After that, provide tasksheet in which pupils need to listen to
teacher and say aloud the words seen/heard. They will then need

By the end of the lesson, pupils will be able to recognize the phonemes
learnt by:
OBJECTIVE(S) a. blend the phonemes and read with guidance
b. listen and tick the correct word that matches the pictures
c. read the words with guidance and trace the words neatly
1. Conduct class routines- days of the week song, phonics song.
2. Recall on the phonemes learnt in the previous lesson. Get pupils to do
some blending phonemes activity involving the phonemes learnt.
3. Then, provide task sheet, in which pupils need to listen and tick the
correct answers. Guide when needed.
ACTIVITIES 4. Next, conduct a game. In this game, teacher will randomly pick pupils to
throw a dice.
5. Based on the number on the dice, they need to choose one of the word
listed in the box (task sheet provided), read and then trace the words
6. If possible, get all the pupils to throw the dice, read and trace.
7. .Randomly pick pupils to read aloud the words shown.
