There will be 900 students in the class of 2021. Why should you be one of them?

As an individual that has been working since the prologue of his career in sales and product
management, being a student in an institution as coveted and esteemed as ISB is a dream come
true. I have a remarkable track record of meeting and exceeding the expectations of my peers and
seniors. Starting as a medical representative in Sun Pharmaceuticals, my performance over a period
of 2 years in the organisation was stupendous. Meeting my targets timely and before the due date
polished my Time Management skills. The relationships that I built with the prescribing medical
doctors during my tenure not only benefitted the company, but also instilled a degree of assurance
in the doctors that they could trust me and believe in my capability to represent the products and
the ethics that the company stood by. All these factors fuelled me further to perform relentlessly
and develop my interpersonal skills, as well as put the sales of the products at the top of the market.
As time went by, I was told one fine day that I was being taken to Manila, Philippines to receive a
prestigious award for my services to the organisation by the Founder and Managing Director of Sun
Pharmaceuticals himself, Mr. Dilip Shanghvi. I was in shock and awe as he presented the award to
me personally and congratulated me. Believing that I had gained monumental experience and
learned a great deal from my peers and seniors, I moved out of the company to seek more
opportunities to learn about different types of medicinal products, besides pharmaceuticals. This
was the decision that took me to Sanmed Healthcare, a Disinfectants and Antiseptics manufacturer.
The products were different from what I had worked with earlier, however I was swift in picking up
the norms and culture of the company, resulting in my promotion in a short amount of time. My
time spent in the business of healthcare has made me come to the realisation that I can learn so
much more and provide my expertise and knowledge in the long run by further mastering my
current skillset. My journey has only yet begun, but I strongly believe that ISB can take my dreams
and shape them into the reality the world needs.

What will you be doing in 2025 and 2030? How will the ISB PGP Programme help you to achieve
these goals?

By the year 2025, my aim is to be responsible for managing entire product portfolios in not just one
country, but for multiple countries. My previous education and my work experiences have prepared
me to tackle said obstacles without any stress, and to achieve targets that may seem superficial to
others but are possible in the eyes of those that never give up. The ISB PGP programme is a blend of
highly lauded skills and experiences that shape the leaders of tomorrow. It will aid in my plan of
action by chiselling my understanding of products and their sales and marketing strategies on a
global scale, by providing me exposure to internationally acclaimed lectures and lecturers. The
relations built with my peers in my journey at ISB is another factor that will shape me to be an
effective leader and manager.

By the year 2030, my goal is to be the president of a major healthcare organisation. My passion for
helping cure ailments and my inherent ability to manage and communicate effectively are the
amalgamation to reach this pinnacle. ISB’s PGP programme overtime will blend world class ethics
and leadership values within me, preparing me to pave my way to successfully stand on a pedestal
and guide the organisation to develop their products and develop their relations with their
customers in a manner that assures quality and efficacy in every process and procedure that is
executed. This course is essential in the transformation of an individual from a leader in the making
to an individual that is regarded as top notch when it comes to guiding the current generation to a
prosperous future. Given an opportunity, I would be an exemplary student at ISB and I vow to meet
all the standards and expectations set forth by this fine institution’s directors and professors.
