Dynamic Arc
The Dynamic Arc function allows an increase of the welding current when the arc voltage decreases
and vice versa. This allows control heat input to the workpiece and penetration with only the move-
ment of the torch.

Suitable for:
- Welding in automated applications where the arc length can vary
- Applications where the flashlight you can not bring the piece to poor accessibility
- First pass in the pipes for a better control of the arc

The value is adjustable from 1Ampre to 50Ampere

Q-Spot (Quick Spot)
The new Q-Spot function greatly facilitates the spot welding process:
• It allows precise positioning of the electrode in the point to be joined (at the closest possible distance);
the electrode is conveniently placed on the fixing point so the operator can perfectly control the
entire cycle.
• Once the electrode is lifted the machine emits a welding current pulse with a present time. This means
that the sheet metal edges are instantly joined with the minimum heat transfer.
• The risk of contamination of the joint and the electrode falls significantly.

The value is adjustable from 10 seconds to 0,01secondi

MULTITACK
This function makes it possible to minimize the heat output when joining two gauge parts.
The series of arc strikes at short time intervals allows the material to cool during the pause between
one strike and the next and thus minimizes its deformation. The facility to adjust the frequency of the
series of arc strikes in the time unit makes it possible to adapt the electric arc to the welding speed
and the join geometry.

The value is adjustable from 0,5Hertz to 6Hertz

MIX AC/DC
This feature allows to obtain high welding speed and creating faster the weld piece to cold. It ‘also
possible the welding of thicker gauges with amperages modest.

- Welding of heavy gauge sheets with lower current than necessary when using an exclusively AC
supply
- Very fast execution thanks to the high percentage of DC - current present in the period
- Very fast creation of the weld puddle (ideal for facing of tools, dies and heavy gauge castings)
- Welding of extremely diverse thickness sheets (1 mm to 10 mm)

It is good practice never to exceed the value of 50% DC - waveform, which would otherwise impair
the pickling of the part and the appearance of the weld bead.

The value is adjustable from 10% to 80%

Extra Fusion
This feature allows the machine with a very thin tungsten electrode tip comparable to that of an elec-
trode for TIG DC -.
The Extra Fusion function is not recommended when welding heavy gauges because the DC+
component is insufficient to ensure optimal cleaning (pickling) of the part during the welding process.

The value is adjustable from 1% to 80%

Double Pulsed HS

Double Pulsed HS Range

Range (RANGE 2PULS): It is the difference in value between the HIGH and LOW current. The value
displayed on the display D1 is the mean value of the current.
Example: If the current value is set 100Ampere and the range is set to 50% means that machine will
pulse from 125Ampere (+ 25%) to 75Ampere (-25%).

The value is adjustable from 10% to 90% (50% Synergic value)

Double Pulsed HS Arc Correction

ARC2 2PULS: It is the correction of the arc (in volts) when the current in Double Pulsed is in low pha-
se. You can therefore manage in a separate lengths of arc in the high phase and the low phase. This
optimizes the arc depending on the operating conditions.

The value is adjustable from -9,9Volts to + 9,9Volts (0,0Volts Synergic value)

Power Root is a feature designed and developed by Weco for facilitating the execution of root pass
in the weld bevels. Power Root is perfectly suited to the union of sheets with big gap between or with
preparation very irregular.
The arc is extremely smooth in all operating conditions and allows an optimal control of the weld,
especially in vertical down position.
In addition the simplicity of selection and adjustment of the parameters of the Power Root does not
require a high skill on the part of the welder.

You can optimize the arch of the Power Root in the display D3 by adjusting encoder E2.
The optimization value is numeric and the button is set to 0. The adjustment range varies from +50 to
-50
- Setting it in a positive arc is soft and warm and allows a better wetting of the edges. Poor penetration
in positions such as overhead (position 4F / PD).
- Setting it in the negative arc is drier and more precise. You better control of penetration in overhead
position (position 4F / PD).
