 The Jack Rabbit is the oldest continuously operating roller coaster in America.

 When first opened, the Jack Rabbit was the fastest roller coaster in the world.

HISTORY: On October 28th 1919, John A. Miller received a patent for his invention of under-friction
technology on railway structures. The following year (1920) Miller and Baker Inc. constructed the Jack
Rabbit at Seabreeze. The under-friction technology kept the cars secured to the tracks. Roller coaster
designers began using this technology to incorporate more thrilling ride features like steeper hills, faster
speeds, and stronger negative g forces.
