This chapter summarizes and discuss the highlights of the feasibility study.
These are the management and personnel, marketing, service and feasibility. The
following chapter will discuss the study even further

a. History of the project

The idea of the researcher sought the various key chain that popular nowadays
and affordable not only the students and working person, specially the ordinary
people. The researcher have observed that the Kasoy keychain booming and
popular in the city of Antipolo.

In 1893 of world's fair in Chicago is the earliest souvenir of keychain is circulated.


A keychain or keyring is a small chain usually made from metal or plastic, that
connects a small item to a keyring1.

The purpose of this study is make use of Kasoy not only for food but also a
medium for art. Since Antipolo is known in Mango, Kasoy and Suman. The
proponents takes advantage of it because of abundant of Kasoy in the Antipolo.

b. Description of the project

Students from grade 12 Accountancy, Business and Management (ABM) of San


Jose National High School – Senior High School in Antipolo City are the
proponents who proposed this feasibility study. The proponents came up with the
idea to conduct this study Painted Kasoy Keychain (P.K. Keychain). Since
Painted Kasoy as keychain is not yet introduced in the market
II. market feasibility
The researcher are confident that proposing a different innovated keychain in the
market will attract customers. Since this study has only been conducted recently, the
proponents of the said business are open to hear any suggestion to make their product
more attractive.
The target market of the business are students in San Jose national high school. The
Kasoy keychain are painted with cute and lovely things. The proponents expects a good
feedback from the students.
The proponents believe that having a wide range of target market gives the business
more potential to succeed. Because it is not only focused on senior high but also in
junior high in the said school.
The proponents decided to innovate such products is to make people realize the kasoy
seed can also be used to make beautiful products and is profitable. It is also to promote
Kasoy which the mostly known in the city of antipolo along with Suman and Mango.
a. Industry description
The P.K. Keychain business is focused on making keychain from kasoy. The
target market are the students in san jose nation high schools. With an age
bracket of 14 – 17 years old and mostly girls since the painting in the products
are cute and lovely things.

b. Industry competitiveness
Many business offer and/or selling keychain product in Antipolo. Sampu – Sampu
business is the example. Given that the said business is not focused on keychain
business. They can also a factor in determining the business profitability since
Sampu - Sampu business have many branch in Antipolo city.
c. Market potential
According to the data assessed from P.K. Keychain in the month of November
and December. The product has high demand rate because of its characteristics.

Demand and supply analysis

This part focuses on the tally projected customer according to the supplies
available for sale. And the estimated satisfaction of the customer in purchasing
the product of the business.

In can be interpreted that it the month of November 2019 it has enough supply to
meet the demand of the customer. And even though in the month of December
2019 there was an increase in demand the business also increase its supplies to
prevent the shortage in the market.

Sales projection refers to the amount of revenue the business can generate over
time.

Iii Technical feasibility
This section discusses the equipment they will be needing in operation of the business.
And also by making the product
a. Equipment
Pliers – used in sealing or finishing the product
Paint brushes – used to paint the design in the product
b. Production sustainability
In terms of production in P.K. Keychain, the Kasoy seed is essential in making
the product. Since it is the pendant hanging in the keychain. And also it is where
the painting will be place.

The Kasoy seed must be first soaked against the sun to remove its sticky feeling.
But sadly there is still acid remain. After that the painting process started. If the
painting is finished and already dry, they will a top coat to seal the painting to
enhance its beauty and to protect to any damages it may take. Then it will be
pierced by pins where the keychain ring will be placed. And lastly, the pliers will
seal it.

Iv Management feasibility
The P.K. Keychain is was founded in Jan. 6, 2019 but will be fully operational on the
following weeks. The operation hours depending on the bazaar schedule where they
will first introduce it to the market. The product will only be sold in the school campus.
a. Duties of the owners are to make and introduce the product to the market.
Sustaining and/or maintaining a clean and comfortable environment in the work
place is also their duties.
b. Since the P.K. Keychain business is a small business the owners decided that
they will not hire any employee. If the business will boom and will be needing
employees. The only qualification they need is they should be talented in painting
and marketing.

V Study conclusion
From the study conducted by the proponents, it can conclude that the P.K. Keychain
business has its ability to fight and survive in the market. It may have limited variety of
product (keychain). The business can produce different designs to suit it customers
taste. A good marketing strategy can also increase its profit.
The painted kasoy can also be innovate to make a different accessories. For example,
Parol for Christmas seasons. Small capital can be its factor to make a high profit since it
has high demand and capture a small market with different target market.
