Audit Preparation
With this app, you create a at le and submit it to the French tax authorities for auditing purposes. This le is referred to as
ʻFichier des écritures comptables’ (FEC).

Prerequisites

Your scal year is closed.

You have been assigned the GL_ACCOUNTANT_FR role.

Posting Opening Balances

With this program, you create posting entries on balance sheet accounts and open postings per customer and vendor account.
Open postings are written in period 00 and with document status BSTAT ʻO’.

How to Create Posting Entries

1. Click the Posting of Opening Balances tile.

2. On the selection screen, enter the following information: chart of accounts, company code, scal year, and ledger.

3. On the Selection tab, leave the Test Run checkbox unchanged and perform a test run before the productive run. By default,
this checkbox is selected. Please note that you’re allowed to perform a productive run only once.

4. On the Accounts tab, select the account corresponding to French account class 120. Alternatively, you can create a
dedicated account corresponding to French accounting class 890.

5. On the Postings tab, select the document type CL and enter the posting and document dates.

6. Click Execute and check the results.

Extracting Data
With this report, you extract the accounting data that is required to create the FEC le.

How to Extract Data

1. Click the Extract Data tile.

2. Enter the required selection criteria.

3. Under General, select the required accounting data.

4. Under Transaction Data, leave the default selections unchanged and select Tax data.

5. Under Master Data, explain default selection.

6. Under Data File, enter a le name, location, and description for the extract data and leave the default selections
unchanged.

7. Click Execute.

Displaying the Extracted Data

With this report, you display the extracted data structured by segment that is required for the FEC le.

2. Enter the name of the le and directory set used in the Extracting Data step.

3. Leave all default selections unchanged.

4. Click Execute.

With this report, you display the extracted data structured by segment that is required for the FEC le.

How to Display Extraction Views

1. Click the Extraction Views tile.

2. Double-click the DART: FI Transaction data for France legal requirements view (2FR_FI01).

3. Under Output Options, select the le created in step Extracting Data.

4. Leave all default selections unchanged, except for the le format. Select French File Format.

5. Click Execute. Your le has been created successfully if a success message is displayed in the status bar.

Displaying View Logs

With this report, you list all view runs in the system.
