Market Feasibility
Industry Analysis
Porter’s Five Forces Model

Threat Of
Substitution

Threat of new
Supplier Power Competitive Rivalry Entrant

Buyer Power

Rivalry among existing competitors:

Currently, the existing brands have already captured the
people and have positive image in people minds. It is difficult for us to capture those people and they
don’t trust on us. We will provide them a unique value proposition. It gives us more benefits to attract
our customers.

Direct Competitor:
Our direct competitors are cricket gears and sports encounter these both have
captured the people and have positive image in people minds. But we have to provide unique value
proposition to attract our customers.

9|P ag e
Threat of substitute products:

Substitutes are a significant concern for Sports Gears. In Sports Gears the
following external factors make the threat of substitution;

 Volley Ball/Rugby/Baseball etc.

Threat of New Entrants:

New entrants in the industry are not so easy, being a new entrant you have
to consider the following things;

 No establishment.
 No effective market campaigns.
 No Goodwill.

Bargaining power of buyers:

We must keep the bargaining power of buyer in our mind because our
product is for the community whose bargaining power is medium and they do not pay extra for the good
product but there are some people who are willing to pay some extra money if value is provided to them.

Bargaining power of suppliers:

Another biggest threat for us is bargaining power of supplier. If we
are dealing with one supplier, there is a chance for a monopolist supplier. We must keep second pier of
supplier in our list.

Know Your Customers:

Our Customers are all athletics. We will target the middle and upper middle
class family. Our Competitors pricing are very high. Customer’s wants pricing with good quality
products and we will provide them as the solution of their need.
