COURSE DESCRIPTION
The course aims to help the students understand the way they communicate and increase their knowledge of conflict resolution and negotiation,
therefore, enforcing their probability for success with others.
Whether they are strengthening their personal relationships or simply seeking to increase their comfort in reaching out to others as a whole, effective
communication is their bridge from potentially hazardous misunderstandings to personal – and professional – success.

GENERAL OBJECTIVES
At the end of the course, students shall be able to:
1. COGNITIVE:
a) Demonstrate the ability to develop content in which the central idea/purpose is clearly stated, the content is accurate
and relevant, and credible support is provided;
b) Communicate effectively both in verbal and non-verbal settings to a variety of audiences and for a variety
of purposes;
c) Exhibit skills in style and fluency, including voice and vocabulary appropriate to audience, discipline and task;
d) Exhibit ability to access, evaluate, and utilize information from a variety of sources and media;
2. AFFECTIVE:
a) Respond appropriately to diverse day-to-day situations;
b) Exhibit confidence in effective communication and cognitive abilities needed to relate in the disciplines.
c) Sensitize and develop students in expressing a positive communicative behavior.
3. PSYCHOMOTOR:
a) Exhibit ability to synthesize verbal and non-verbal communications appropriate to the discipline.
b) Write multiple drafts to create and complete a successful text in the relevant discipline and produce proper presentation
materials as needed.
