calculations, then you get following result

1. Internals: Add Internals Weight.


- Check Box "Welded Internals" for shop installed Internals
- Check Box Empty, Operating, Hydrotest Cases for site installed Internals
(Example: Feed Pipe, Distributor, Collectors, Seal Pans, etc.)

2. Cladding: Input cladding weight separately in fabrication weight


- Check Box "Empty Case".
(as it is not considered in Fabrication weight by PVElite Software.)

3. Fluid: In case Boot is present, add Fluid Weight in boot as,


- Separate Operating Fluid weight with Check Box "Operating"
- Hydrotest Water weight with Check Box "Hydrotest"
(as it is not considered by PVElite Software.)

4. Overhead Pipe Weight: (Only for Columns)


Eccentric weight of EMPTY pipe (SCH STD) with size of nozzle on top, running
parallel to column shall be added. Weight of overhead pipe shall be added on each
shell and top dished end as follows:

Allowable Maximum Allowable Deflection at top of Column shall be equal to height of the
Deflection column divided by 200 up to a maximum of 300 mm.

1. Full Diameter Tubesheet (Tubesheet with Flanged Extension) shall not be


used for BEU, AES & AET types where test flanges shall be supplied.

Heat 2. Extended Tubesheets with Collar bolts shall only be used for tube bundles
Exchangers which are stabbed into columns or vessels.

4. Select Minimum Bolt dia as 3/4 inch in Aspen Bjac.

1. Hydrotest Calculations (Except Heat Exchangers) for Site with UG-99(b) in


corroded condition:
a. Change Hydrotest Type to UG-99(b)
b. Change Hydrotest position to – Vertical (For Vertical Equipment)
c. Change Design Constraints -> “Corroded Hydrotest” = YES
d. Attach only Internal Pressure Calculations with Hydrotest Results.

2. Hydrotest Calculations for Flanges & Tubesheets (Heat Exchangers):

Additional a. UG-99(b)(36) – Horizontal / Vertical based on Site Orientation
