U.S. 2019 PEANUT CROP ANNUAL ESTIMATE – USDA has released the Final Peanut Crop Estimate for 2019.

U.S. PEANUT PRODUCTION- 2019 - Production was estimated at 5.50 billion pounds (2,748,043 tons) up slightly from 2018.
Planted area was estimated at 1.43 million acres, up less than 1 percent from 2018. Harvested area was estimated at 1.39 million acres,
up 1 percent from 2018. The average yield was estimated at 3,949 pounds per acre, down 52 pounds from 2018. Record high
production was estimated in Arkansas. Record high yields were estimated in North Carolina, Oklahoma, and Virginia.
