Alif, Lam, Meem. (1) Allah - there is no deity except Him, the Ever-Living, the Sustainer of
existence. (2) He has sent down upon you, [O Muhammad], the Book in truth, confirming
what was before it. And He revealed the Torah and the Gospel. (3) Before, as guidance for
the people. And He revealed the Qur'an. Indeed, those who disbelieve in the verses of Allah
will have a severe punishment, and Allah is exalted in Might, the Owner of Retribution. (4)
May Allah able us to understand this chapter and give us the strength to act according to it, and
our act of learning does not become a ritual like others rituals, instead should be seen in our daily
lives.
This chapter al Imran has many names among which one of it has been mentioned before, by the
name az Zahra, another name treasure, ‫ كنز‬in Arabic, the third name is al istigna, and the fourth
one is taiba the pure.
The former chapter which we completed, is one of the lengthiest chapters of the Quran, followed
by the Al Imran, the second lengthiest chapter of the Quran. The coming chapters of the Quran
would be shorter in length, by each surah we would complete, the next one would be shorter in
length.
I would like to talk few things about this chapter, you would see in the Mushif the order of this
chapter right after the Al baqarah, but according to the order of the revelation, the second chapter
in line after the al baqarah was the al Infal, and if we try to explore the revelation pattern in
which this surah revealed, we would see that
 The verses from 1- 32 were revealed right after the battle of badr, and in these verses, the
misconceptions and the errors on the part of people of scriptures have been mentioned,
this chapter can be divided into two major parts; the first one is addressed to the
Christians and they had been called towards the message of Islam, and the second half
concerns Muslims, and they are told to be aware of the mischievous plans of the
people being discussed in the first half, and they had been told the importance of the
Islam.
Coming back to the order or sequence of the verses,
 from 33 -64, had been revealed in 9th Hijri on the occasion of the arrival of a delegate from
the Najran, full of honour and dignity, this set of verse discusses many of that
conversations and what prophet Muhammad PBUH talked to them regarding the matter of
faith.
 then comes the third set of verses from 65 -99, the people of scriptures have been invited
towards the faith and deen of Islam, this set includes that famous verse of

 Afterwards, the verses from the 100 onwards discuss the incidents of battle of Badr.
After this battle, the dominance of Islam as religion starts to appear, this is all the introduction to
the verses so that you get acquainted with the verses you would go to study and in case if we
would miss something, what would be missed by us.
There are five basics thing to be taught while reading this surah:
1. the basic concept that has been openly declared and being presented in this chapter is that
the ultimate guidance and to be on the right path can never be attained unless and until
someone accepts the Islam,
Islam is a backbone to guidance, no guidance is complete without it, it is a natural code of belief,
though it passed through several stages from the beginning, in the form of Noah a,s to Prophet
Muhammad PBUH, one could never figure out any change or alteration in the basic tenets of it,
the oneness of Allah is unchangeable, though it got afflicted due to wrong of Humans, becoming
dual to the concept of trinity later.
This brings us to the point, that if we want to unite humanity, we have just two ways to do so, the
one being the convergence on the unity of Allah, and secondly, to declare prophet PBUH as the
true messenger of Allah. Negating even one of the point will make the whole deal unacceptable.
2. In the chapter al baqarah, the whole efforts were put towards Jews, because they were the
inhabitants of Madinah, and by virtue of being the nearer one to the source of the message,
they were being directed by the Islam, contrary to al baqarah, the chapter al Imran,
concerned or directed its efforts towards the guidance of Christians, to rectify their past
mistake of misconception they have regarding the concept of trinity and their claim of it as
the one and only true belief, and in this context, the delegation of Njaran would be
discussed.

3. The other theme which could be brought forth in comparison with the al baqarah is the
injunction of jihad i.e Qital, the Muslims were permitted to fight against infidels in al
baqarah, this chapter presents fewer details regarding the battle of Badr, while the
detailed discussion comes in the next chapter which I told you was the chapter Al Anfal
according to the revealed order of the chapters on prophet Muhammad PBUH, and there
Allah clearly told how the smaller group dominates over the bigger group in size. we had
seen it in an example of talut and jalut that many a time, it occurred when a small number
overcame a number bigger than its size and strength, and there is nothing unnatural in it
because it is all depended upon the will and action taken to secure its position which
outnumbers those which are strong in numbers, but weak in actions.
4. The fourth point which has been highlighted by Allah in this Chapter is to remind Muslims
of the designation and the status they possess and what obligations they have on their part
as Muslims, if one could understand the two main verses of this chapter, the hopes are
higher that he would be able to change himself then.
In al baqarah Allah mentioned this Ummah in the words
ٰ
ً ‫س‬
While here the purpose of this designation is explained and clarified, and anyone who
wants to unite Ummah today he has to take refuge in the oneness of Allah and hold fast to
the rope of Allah.

5. The fifth thing discussed here is the failure or end of any society owe a great deal to its
economic instability, a society cease to grow and would soon be turned into ashes if its
inhabitants do not enjoy the economic justices and fairness. this takes us to the subject of
riba or usury again in this chapter, although a slight portion it is, it is significant in its
content, that how society and then the whole world can be saved from the evils of this
devilish system of wealth.

6. And the sixth issue is the rebuttal to the Christian doctrine and philosophy they possess
and preach regarding the prophet Isa a.s, and this refutation did not lead to the disgrace
on prophet eesa's part, or his virtue is being diminished, Allah took the miracle of eesa to
the limelight, his miraculous birth with the father, taken by Allah as a virtue on his part.
This rebuttal to the claims of Christians is powerful without invoking the sanctity of the prophet
hood of Isa a.s.
So this is all the brief introduction of its chapters or references of the context under which we
will understand these verses, the other thing is its rhythmic connection with the previous chapter
al baqarah.
There are a number of similarities in these two chapters, I would put before you several points of
similarities here.
You have already completed the commentary of surah al baqarah.
1. The first point of resemblance between two is the style of its beginning, both of them
commenced with the alif lam meem.
2. The second thing is this chapter consists of 200 verses, while of baqarah 286 verses, so it is
next in terms of length to the chapter of al baqarah.
3. The third point id both of them are called ‫ الزهراوين‬which means the shining thing.
4. Similarly, both of these chapters have been given special names, the sun and the moon, the Al-
Baqarah and al Imran respectively, and the difference in both the celestial bodies correspond
to the difference in both of the chapters, al-baqarah has a sublime and superb aura, the gravity
is high, its augustness and dignifies style is its hallmark, while the al Imran has a soft texture,
and you would feel its lightness and its soft effect on yourselves too.
the order of these three chapters of al Quran can be understood by analysing the context of these
three chapters, starting with the opening chapter of al Quran, al Fatiha, we prayed to Allah to save
us from those paths which were trodden by those who caused your wrath and those who were
the misguided one, in answer to that Allah sent the al baqarah where he described clearly all
those who belonged to the group upon which the wrath of Allah has descended.
In the chapter al Imran, we would see the manners of misguided people, who are far away from
the knowledge and its sources, who believe in the idea of the superiority of knowledge less
person to a knowledgeable one, and makes a point of it, the more you are ignorant the more you
would be less accountable, in contrast to the knowledge which would be held accountable if not
acted upon, so we can conclude, that the first chapter i.e. Al Baqarah, it defines and explains the
ideas and beliefs of Jews, while the second chapter describes the Christians beliefs.
Along with it, you had already studied the three main groups of people, in the previous chapter,
the pious ones, the hypocrites, and the infidels. The same pattern is adopted here with a slight
difference in numbers of groups, where we would study the two groups of people, ‫الراسخون في العلم‬
And the two types of verses concerning these groups.
In the previous chapter, we studied the creation of Adam a.s while in this chapter we would cover
the creation of prophet Isa a.s. as both of these creations are the miracle in itself, one born(adam)
without the parents or no other human being existed before him, while the other one without the
father.
Likewise, the concluding portion of both chapters is similar, as both ends with the prayers, this
shows the importance of prayer in a person life.
May we able to accomplish what is in this chapter, and gain from it what is there in it.

Alif, Lam, Meem. (1)

This chapter, like al baqarah starts with these words which are called as haroof e muqattat , and
the authentic explanation and its meaning only known by Allah whereas the reasons for its
presence in Quran are given by various scholars, and the most common and rational logic says
that it is a part of chapters that are revealed in Makkah, being a part of a miraculous Quran sent to
prophet in a community where linguistic superiority is present, as a reaction to it and to prove
the superiority of the words of Quran, Allah sent these words which burdened and crippled their
sense of masterfulness over the language they speak, their claim of being the proficient of Arabic
turned out to be abortive and barren when they could not figure out the meaning of simple words
on their own.
There are six chapters in Quran which starts with the word similar to this, alif lam meem,
1. Surah al baqarah
2. Surah al Imran
3. Surah al ankabut
4. Aurah ar room
5. Surah luqman
6. Surah alif lam meem sajda

He revealed the Torah and the Gospel. (3)
What it was?
Before, as guidance for the people. And He revealed the Qur'an. Indeed, those who
disbelieve in the verses of Allah will have a severe punishment, and Allah is exalted in
Might, the Owner of Retribution. (4)
What if people did not act upon it?
Indeed, from Allah nothing is hidden in the earth nor in the heaven. (5)
What other attributes of Him?
It is He who forms you in the wombs however He wills.
And the reality is
There is no deity except Him, the Exalted in Might, the Wise. (6)
This is the third surah of Quran which is in our hands, the first chapter is al fatiha which is the
summary of all of the Quran, in its last part, the prayers and supplications came , asking Allah to
guide us to the right path , the prayer had been answered in the form of the next chapter , the
It comprises of all of the injunctions of Sharia, some are explained in detail while others are
discussed briefly, while the stories of Jews have been discussed too on and off, while at the end
the supplication of success over the infidels came.
From now on, this surah will describe us the way to deal with Christians and how to combat them
and fight against them. The first five verses of this chapter, excluding the first verse containing
haroof e muqattaat, are of huge importance as they propose a purpose, and the source of
differentiation between a believer and a non- believer, the concept of oneness of Allah is the one
around which the faith revolves, if a person believes in oneness then he is a believer, if not then
not.
The first verse gives the rational proof and evidence to the oneness of Allah, by rational proof
means the logical reasoning to prove something, and in the next four verses the textual evidence
is given to proof the same thing.
What is textual proof or ,‫ نقلي دليل‬it means to prove some point through the support of text or
something that has been narrated and passed on from generation to generations.
The point proven by both of the evidence is that there is only one entity that holds the thing in
order, and that is Allah alone.
Verse 1-4 explanation
Now we will discuss the 2nd verse in detail,

Allah - there is no deity except Him, the Ever-Living, the Sustainer of existence. (2)
If you will closely look into the beginning part of this chapter, you will find a resemblance with
the kalima tayyab, the word ‫ اَل إِلا ٰـها إِ ََّل‬is further decoded and joined by two attributes of Allah the
Ever-Living, the Sustainer of existence ‫
in the light of narration of prophet muhammad pbuh, this verse contain the ‫اسم اعظم‬,and its
significance is that if it is being read while supplicating, the asked thing must be granted, it has
great effects on the acceptance of prayers, there are three verses which contain it.
The first one is in the ayatul kursi, ‫
The second verse is the present verse, ﴾

While the third one is of chapter at taha
And [all] faces will be humbled before the Ever-Living, the Sustainer of existence

If we combine all three verses, the common term in them is the word, ‫
ُّ ‫ا ْل اح‬while it is
unknown which one of the word in the sentence is the actual isme azam, but the proven fact is the
name of Allah of Allah is worthy of such blessings that whoever takes it in any form it will reap its
effects on him. This is the introduction to the attributes of Allah.
As told earlier in the intro, that the verses ranging from the 1-32 had been revealed in the context
of battle of badr, and the later verses revealed before the delegation of Najran, but several
commentators argue that all of its initial verses actually revealed in address to the delegation, it
was a scenario just like we have today, some Christian delegates come to a Muslim community
center and ask to introduce Islam to them, so here Allah introduced himself by revealing these
verses and asked a logical question that does Christ the messenger you follow and show as an
epitome of power, did he possess such traits of ‫ي ا ْلقايُّو ُم‬
We have talked earlier about both if these attributes but here I would just mention slightly, that
‫ا ْل اح ُّي‬ the Ever-Living ‫ ا ْلقايُّو ُم‬, the Sustainer of existence.
The ever living not dependent on another creature for his existence, he is the supreme enough to
be the one who is independent of any other living while the sustainer of existence is the one on
whom the dependency is shown, we all are dependent on him one way or other, even our birth
and presence in this world is dependent on him, if He wants, a child would be born, but His own
living is empty of such dependencies. It is a pre requisite of any entity who is being worshipped
that he is superior to All of others, and by virtue of His nature the supremacy resides with Him
alone, so, He is neither dependent on someone nor needs anyone, instead he is the sustainer of
all, and that is true from rational point as well, if someone is not independent of his own creation,
then He is not worthy of being worshipped even, the worship itself requires the everlasting ever
existing one, which never ceased to exist.
We need to look into our selves do we really take Allah as this?
Afterwards, the textual proofs come,

He has sent down upon you, [O Muhammad], the Book in truth, confirming what was
before it. And He revealed the Torah and the Gospel. (3)
Here, the addressed did not include the name of Prophet Muhammad pbuh, although he is the one
being addressed to, how it revealed? The book in truth, what it means by the truth.
This word is also famous in the Muslim’s circle due to its past association with some incident and
the echo is still felt by the people, so we must investigate what it means by the truth or al haqq?
One of famous linguistic Al-Rāghib al-Isfahānī, al-Mufradāt fī Gharīb al-Qurʾān ( defined truth as

This might be a an ordinary sentence for someone or for all of you while you write, but for me it
muted me, Allah associated the characteristic of truth with it and silenced all of those who object
to its timing and space, it revealed at the right time for the right people, at right place, with right
number of verses, examples and everything which is a part of it, everything is in its most
righteous proportion, place and time, it laminated thow hole world when all of the world was
hidden in the darkness of misguidance and was on the wrong path, so by giving a single word
truth here Allah compressed the whole phenomena of right time right place in one word which
no one can object to things like why it cam late, had it been revealed earlier the world would be
under the guidance, why it took so much time to be revealed after so many years of prophet
Noah? Etc etc…
The second characteristic of this Quran is

Confirming what was before it. And He revealed the Torah and the Gospel. (3)
it did not come as a negation to all previous Books but it confirms and open for us what was in
the previous scriptures, one need to understand it properly, that the battle of badr was such an
extra ordinary triumph for Muslims that it set their footings and sown in them the seeds of
conviction that this newly born religion is ought to exist as a major force of change in the society
and by each passing day, it would become more and more sporadic. No one could resist against it
openly and easily, because Islam emerged as a power before the people residing in that
community, at that time, the community in makkah went divided into three main groups; the one
being the true hearted the mukhliseen, the other one being critical of it but accepted Islam as a
precautionary measure and to harm Muslims and Islam from inside, as it was no more an easy job
to malign Islam by being remained non-Muslim, like Abdullah bin ubaye. The third group, which
also emerged at that time, was the group of peace lovers, who adopted a non-conflicting attitude,
which made them earn a bounty status among people, while completely unlike and unendorsed
by Allah swt group of people who claim and propagate the concept of peace ,assimilation and
compromise on religious front, and unity of religion among all without realizing that the said
stance is against the teaching of Islam and not being liked by the Allah on the other hand, their
agenda or doctrine was that of the present day. These are the one who did not accept Islam but
they started to preach and propagate the notion and ideals of all is right. Everyone should look to
his own religion and try to please Allah and be contented with it, this was and still is the most
dangerous idea and pattern of thinking, it gathers support quickly, why because it relates to the
ordinary mind of people without taking notice that this idea is full of contradictions and against
what Islam preached? Allah opened up the reality of previous scriptures in the Quran, and made
it a standard to verify the other scriptures, those scriptures which were the source of guidance in
their times but not now.
To understand it further, take an example of fake currency which gets spread in a community to
such an extent that the central bank has to issue an order to exchange the forged money, this
happens when the counterfeit notes are spread so widely that it becomes impossible to discard
them instantly, so to avoid the financial corruption and economic degeneration the bank comes
up with the solution, the wise man would follow it.
Same is the case with the old and new religion; the Islam, in order to follow the authenticated and
verified book, Allah directs or issue a statement similar to the bank’s statement to adopt a new
religion and abandon the old one, as it is no more the verified one.
There is no grudge Allah has for the previous religion, they all had been sent by the Allah, and
since the older scriptures are full of changes, edition and alteration and even to some extent
completely renewed, so Allah asked the man kind belonging to any previous religion to get on the
path of Islam and follow this Book because it is ‫ص ِ ِّدقًا ِلِّ اما با ْينا يا اد ْي ِه‬
‫ ُم ا‬, this word is repeated several
times, along with the word ‫ مهيمنا‬the gate keeper.
This book acts as a verifying tool not a rejection tool for the previous books.
How it guards them? This we would discuss in the coming chapters.

Then the word ‫

And He revealed the Torah and the Gospel. (3)
Before proceeding, let us figure out the difference between the words ‫
The word ‫نزل‬means a gradual descent. While the word ‫أنزل‬means to pour suddenly with a
strong pressure or thrust, just like if I have a glass of water, and either I would pour out in the
form of droplets or I would squirt a liquid rapidly. Both of words have been used for the
revelation of the Quran, the reason behind it, which the Quran was revealed in approx... 23 years,
although it feel as a defect but in reality it is this gradual descent which melted the hearts for it
and helped them adapted their lives according to the changing injunctions whereas the Torah and
the Gospel were revealed in one go.
Coming to the word torah, its root word is ‫ و ر ي‬,it came in Quran too. Its literal meaning is to
strike two stones together, as a result light is produced, this light is the sign of guidance and light,
from here the word Torah means that it contains in its word the meaning of the light, somewhere
in the past, this book was the source of the guidance and light for the people, as stated in the next
So it is evident that it was a sheer source of guidance, same was the
case with the injeel, its root word is ‫ن ج ل‬which means wide, broad along with the meaning of
good news, which was the book of guidance in its time.
By Torah also means the book of law, or a constitution. The Torah we see today is the compilation
of 39 chapters which are named as Old Testament and is the first part of the Bible, while the
second part which is the New Testament comprising of 24 to 25 books. Although both the Jews
and Christians follow the same book, but one of them follows the old one while the Christians
follow the new testament. The word Torah originally derived from Hebrew, with the meaning of
the book of the law. The Jews believe that this is the Torah which was given to Musa on his way to
mount toor, which is by the passage of time and the additions of more scriptures, incorporated
those injunctions and the content in it, while the christians claim the second part to be the real
one.
What the New Testament is? It is all those sayings of the Christ which were recorded before he
was lifted up.
You will find four types of content in the Torah today. But before explaining that let us go back
into the little history of it.
When Musa a.s was given Torah, he copied it and gave it to the twelve tribal elders of his time in
order to insulate it from any kind of mishap, those were the descendants of prophet yaqub’s 12
sons, among those tribes, the tribe of bani lawi placed their copy inside the haikal e sulemani, but
soon that copy got destroyed as a result of attack on haikul e sulemani in 586BC. This was the
time when not a single copy of Torah was left and to be seen by anyone or possessed by anyone.
Then, after centuries, an incident which we read in the beginning of juzz 3, how a person passed
by a town and how he slept for 100 years and everything that occurred after, this was the man
named prophet Uzair a.s who remembered the verses of Torah, so, he joined hands with few
senior Jews, who after long turmoil and wandering in the areas like lost souls got settled in
Babylon and realized what they had done to themselves and their book, they joined hands with
the prophet Uzair a.s and rewrite the Torah, this is the story of Torah whose writer is an
anonymous.
So this newly written book has four types of content:
1. Historical incidents ,written by themselves
2. A big part of it comprises of the biography of prophet Musa a.s
3. Few authentic verses due to the prophet Uzair a.s
4. The altered verses which we have studied in detail already

This third part is what Quran denotes towards when it says ‫
Same is the case with the Injeel, it also contains four major themes:
1. Biographical part of prophet Musa a.s
2. His saying like the narrations of prophet Muhammad pbuh
3. Few authentic verses
4. The altered verses
You would be surprised to hear that there was not a sign of any book by the name injeel during
the life time of prophet Musa as. It was written as late as after his was lifted up.
Four types of injeels are famous:
1. Luca
2. Mathew
3. Johana
4. Barnaba’s
This last one is the most authentic one, but its publication is deemed illegal. Somehow, I got to
have its Urdu translation and I literally felt as if I was reading the Quran, its style and manner is
similar to the Quranic style. Its content is consistent with the teachings of Quran in matters
related to prophet Isa a.s.
All of their names are named after the disciples or people who compiled them.
For us what is in it? We need to believe in it to the point that they were the source of guidance in
their times, not now because looking closer to the verse after it, ‫اس‬
guidance for the people before means the time before the inspiration and the revelation of the
Quran, such a clear and huge evidence it is, that the time to get guidance from these books have
been gone, it was restricted to the times before the Quran, Allah did not say after the Quran it si
guidance too, and you will read the famous incidence where
Umar Ibn al-Khattab brought a copy of the Torah to the Prophet, peace be upon him, and
said: "O Apostle of God, this is a copy of the Torah." But [the Prophet] kept silent. Then `Umar
started reading and the face of the Prophet kept changing. So, Abu Bakr interrupted him
violently: "Don't you see the face of the Prophet?" `Umar looked at the Prophet's face and said
"May God preserve me from His anger and from the anger of his Apostle, peace be upon him,
we accepted God as Lord and Islam as religion and Muhammad as prophet." Then the
Prophet, peace be upon him, said: "By the One Who owns Muhammad's soul, if Moses, peace
be upon him, appeared to you and you followed him and left me, you would go astray from
the right path and if he were alive and reached [the time of] my prophet hood he would have
followed me. "
So, today if someone reads it due to some curiosity or any other reason he must be aware that the
chances of him being misguided are high, and unfortunately, here we have kids who do not even
read Quran. You know the standard of public schools very well, so the parents who can afford to
send their kids to private schools they carry the burden but along with the high standard of
education what flaws it have is the indoctrination of Christianity through education, and this is
common in our sides like north America and other areas, so at the expense of religion our kids
are being given the worldly education, and mothers then come and complain about their worry.
Our fault lies in the fact that we did not even armed our kids with their own religion first and sent
them there, this lack of preparedness on our part put them on the path of negation, few negate
prayers few other things while few totally negate the religion. This is that class of society which is
educated, well established in status and wealth, the worry of mother or parents is not restricted
to their kids not offering prayers but it is the ill arguments and discussion around the Islam and
doubts in their hearts regarding the truthfulness of this religion that is worrisome. These are the
people who belong to that group of people as I mentioned earlier, who are neither sincere
hearted not hypocrites but are the peace makers and pretend themselves to be those who belong
to the either group.
Allah clearly mentioned now it is the Quran which is to be followed and which is to be the source
of guidance, why because it is

. And He revealed the Qur'an
What it meant by AL FURQAN , imam Tabri said ‫الفصل بين الحق و الباطل‬
Few have taken the meaning of miracles which were given to the prophets to manifest the
authority. While others took it for wisdom and intellect because it can too differ between the
right and wrong.
To summarize, Allah has made the Quran a standard and an instrument to be taken as a criterion
to judge and see the validity and authentication of older books, and in the case of Israelites
traditions or narrations, as we see numerous in books like ibne kathir and many other books the
principle statement given by prophet is DO NOT NEGATE IT NOR ACCEPT IT, means the
tradition from those resources cannot be given as an evidence in case of aqaids, but if it not in
conflict with Quran, then one can present it, as it would be not of harmful nature nor beneficial.
Now you understood the connection between these three verses, because mostly when we start
to red this chapter, we could not understand the reason behind presence of these verses in the
beginning.
Here Allah declared the authenticity and the status it enjoys on the other scriptures, it is being
read throughout the world, in different cultures but not a single change in its signs you could
detect, but still those who do not accept so, then for them

Indeed, those who disbelieve in the verses of Allah will have a severe punishment, and
Allah is exalted in Might, the Owner of Retribution. (4)
The ayah here denotes to the verses, not to the worldly signs and symbols. And He is the owner of
retribution, on whom? On those who negates His religion, and His exaltedness in might covers
three types of dominance which we would discuss later, as this would be the advanced level for
you, and retribution for what? For exchanging the truth with the falsehood, take an example of a
real currency note, which has come to defy the old one or the counterfeit one, how would be the
reaction of some ticket collector or a token collector if you try to deceive him by showing him the
expired ticket or token, he would be caught. This is the case with the Islam , for those who are
shoeing Allah the old religion in cloak of true religion and did not leave the old tradition of their
religion, they would be under the burden of retribution by Him.
Now look at the text of all these books which are written by men of unknown identity, on the
other hand, if you consider and judge the validity of narrations of prophet and study them
minutely, you would understand that there are different kinds of narrations owing to the strength
of authenticity and verification’s process they had gone through, among such kind of narration, a
type named as weak tradition or daeef ahadith, may Allah bless him the imam Albany who took a
toll to investigated and identified number of weak traditions along with the reason behind their
such sorting, the purpose to include this example here, is to show you the vast difference in
between the authenticity of prophetic narrations and its classification and the authenticity of
those so called scriptures, they are not assigned even the status of weak traditions when
compared with the ahadith of prophet pbuh. How?
There is an intensive research carried out on the topic of weak narrations and then among them
the dhaeef ahadith as I mentioned earlier by imam Albany, he mentioned and compiled them all
in a single book and carried out a strong argument in favor or against the chain of narration or
the sequence of its narrator. This is not the case with the Torah and Injeel, their source is
completely unknown. Therefore, those who raise doubts on the authenticity of ahadith, they
should stop following and reading those two books as well, as their writer and everything which
could come under the list of way to verify and authenticate any narrations, is more prone to the
doubts of authenticity.
