LEARNING 1.3.1
STANDARD: Able to listen to and demonstrate understanding of oral texts by:
OBJECTIVES : By end of the lesson the pupils should be able to :
1. Guess at least three names of thief based on the description by
the teacher correctly
Achievers
2. Write at least three descriptions about clothes correctly with
guidance

1. teacher shows a picture of a thief wearing all black coloured cloth


2. teacher asks pupils to describe the cloth
3. teacher writes the description on the whiteboard
4. teacher conducts “Who is the Thief” game
5. teacher will ask pupils to close their eyes, teacher will hide a ring
in one of the pupils bag
ACTIVITIES : 6. pupils need to guess who is the thief that stole the ring based on
the description by the teacher
7. teacher distributes pictures to each pupils
8. pupils need to paste it in the E1 book and write descriptions
about the cloth
9. teacher guides the pupils

STANDARD: Blend phonemes into recognizable words and read them aloud correctly.
OBJECTIVES : By end of the lesson the pupils should be able to :
1. Pronounce at least 5 out of 6 words with phoneme ‘oy’ correctly

2. Write 5 out of 6 missing words correctly

phonemes while pupils listen and follow

4. when teacher raises sound card (oy), pupils make a gesture like
calling for someone and say ‘oy’

7. Pupils work in groups. Teacher distributes word cards with
missing phonemes. Pupils need to choose the correct phonemes
for the words. Then, pupils blend the phonemes to form the
correct words.
