‘One evening, the Elephant bedded down at the corner of Marlborough Street and Pall Mall, the street of
exclusive private clubs. On that particular night, a private fund-raiser for a children’s organization – the
annual ARK charity dinner – was taking place at Marlborough House, but word of the Elephant not far away
lured many of the guests in their elegant gowns, high heels and jewels of tailcoats, vests, and cravats into the
street. The anomaly of such audience members amused the crowd in tee shirts and trainers who helped the
elegantly dressed spectators climb onto walls and over railings. Later that evening, the Sultan and his
concubines crashed the ARK charity party. While this visit by the Sultan was actually planned, the news of the
uninvited guests eating, drinking, and toasting at the exclusive event spread rapidly through the delighted
crowd over the rest of the weekend…….On The Mall, the Elephant bellowed, sprayed the police and other city
officials with water, and even stopped to pee gallons of malodorous liquid as the actor-technicians shrugged
and waited for him to finish. Spectators laughed and were quick to comment on the Elephant’s cheekiness to
relieve himself so close to Buckingham Palace.’

The little girl giant woke up one morning, got a shower from the Sultan’s Elephant, and wandered off to play
in the park…..
