At Chelsea Independent College, we offer a range of courses for students aged 14
and above. We pride ourselves on fostering a mature environment where Foun-
dation students can prepare for university entry whilst also benefitting from the
pastoral care and support that a college environment provides.

Our experienced teachers help international students to adapt to the British

education system and develop the skills necessary for higher education in the
UK and beyond. Students have plenty of opportunities to integrate and socialise

 Science Pathway
This is the right choice for a student who has a desire to understand the mechanics and
CHOOSING YOUR PATHWAY composition of the world around us. Students have the opportunity to access a broad
and exciting range of scientific degree subjects and the choice of either Mathematics or
Physics to complement the core elements of Biology and Chemistry.

A recognised NCUK study centre in London, Chelsea Independent College offers EAP BIOLOGY CHEMISTRY MATHS
students the choice of four subject-specific pathways. Students develop their
understanding of their chosen field at an accelerated pace, but are not limited
from progressing onto other allied courses at a later stage. Along with the NCUK
universities, the IFY qualification is recognised by many universities in the
Russel Group, as well as a number of outstanding international institutions in
New Zealand, Australia and North America among others.

Business Pathway
The NCUK Business pathway is best suited to students who wish to keep their univer-
sity course options as broad as possible. The Mathematics component ensures that
Business pathway students can apply not only to humanities degrees, but also to those
requiring strong numerical skills.

EAP MATHS ECONOMICS BUSINESS STUDIES

Humanities Pathway Medicine Pathway

The key difference between the Humanities pathway and the Business pathway is the
exclusion of the Mathematics module. Students who prefer to follow this non-mathemat-
ics stream can progress onto a wide range of degrees, from Politics and International
Relations, to Law, Journalism and PR.
This unique pathway gives students the opportunity to study a range of science subjects,
as well as an optional Anatomy & Physiology module. The Medicine pathway offers excel-
lent progression opportunities to those wishing to pursue a career in Medicine, Pharmacy,
Nursing, Biochemistry, and other medical-related degrees and professions.
