The operating theatre control panel is the hub of the
modern operating room and provides a central point
from which to control the theatre environment. At
Starkstrom, the world’s leading manufacturer, we offer
a wide choice of styles and functions, from the
traditional stainless steel version, to the state-of-the-
art electronic touch screen, with a completely flat
membrane overlay front for excellent infection control.
To meet the increasing need to access PACS records
in operating rooms, Starkstrom also provide flush
mounted PACS viewers, with wipe clean membrane
keyboards, again minimising the risk of infection and
reducing clutter in the operating room. There is a
standard product which accommodates up to

 laser interlock systems
laser interlock systems, in conjunction with lasermet
Lasermet Interlock Systems enable organisations to comply with best practice when
providing end users with a safe environment in which to operate hazardous lasers. Designed
for maximum safety and efficiency, these Interlock Systems are configured to provide
automatic shut-off of the laser beam if safety doors, covers
or blinds are opened.
The Lasermet Interlock Systems are optional extras
incorporated into the operating theatre control panels and
meet all relevant European Standards.
Laser Interlock System

Interlock Systems are able to operate laser interlocks, laser

power, beam shutters and warning signs and can be fitted
with entry/exit overrides and emergency stop switches. A
key-lock prevents unauthorised use.
