About Us

SFN is a manufacturer and supplier of Oil Seals and Sealing products to

various business segments divided by the engineering industries it
serves, namely- Automotive, Agriculture, Construction, Mining, Power
and Steel Mills. SFN was established as an Indo-German-Japanese
partnership with a common goal of creating a company that would
combine strengths of SIGMA in domestic market with Freudenberg-
NOK’s global leadership in Oil Seals in a fast growing Indian market. The
company office and plants are located 200 Kms to the North of Delhi in
the city of Chandigarh/Mohali. German partner-Freudenberg and
Japanese partner-NOK cooperate globally in the Oil Seals business and
the alliance commands 65% of global market share in our product lines.
Today SFN commands a dominant position in the domestic market for
Oil Seals.

Depending on the specific application, an Oil Seal must endure aggressive oils, greases, dirt, high pressure as well as extreme temperature and high
rotational shaft velocity. Our products and materials are engineered to meet the specific application requirements defined by our customers and their
markets. The vast variety of applications accounts for our extensive range of Oil Seal sizes and elastomer materials. Moreover our close cooperation and
interaction with customers, make possible the development of specially tailored applications & solutions.
Sigma Freudenberg NOK, the Indian arm is supporting and supplying the Indian customers with the latest solutions for their needs capitalizing on
international technology exchanges with our JV partners NOK and Freudenberg.

Corporate Social Activities

Regularly SFN organizes Blood Donation and Medical Assistance Camps. Recently it organised a breast cancer awareness
camp on the company’s premises for all female employees. This was done with the help of an NGO, Rani Breast Cancer
Trust, Chandigarh. Its aim was to raise awareness about the disease as well as offer support to patients of breast cancer. In
the first session, 90 female workers participated and were given education on breast cancer, its causes, self-examination
techniques and recommendations for mammography tests wherever necessary. Similar camps are also planned for female
workers in other group companies in the coming months
