Purpose of the Job


To support the Manager in providing oversight and support for the day to day management of projects.

Duties and Responsibility


The job holder’s duties and responsibilities are outlined as follows:

I. Duties Related to Assignments and Projects


a) Coordinating fieldwork for assignments with the Managers and Directors by developing project plans,
fieldwork task schedules, scheduling and preparing for workshops and interviews
b) Providing input and technical support in assignments during all phases of the project
c) Ensuring the firms work standards are adhered to in all assigned projects and deliverables

II. Duties Related to Marketing and Business Development


a) Preparing presentations for existing or prospective clients together with the Manager or Director
a) Contributing to the proposal submissions and business development initiatives under the directions of the
Manager or Director
b) Participating in networking events related to the organization’s practice areas

III.Duties Related to Management, Leadership and Administration


a)Coordinating, directing and overseeing work done by Consultants Analysts
b)Ensuring that all project review notes are addressed and reviewed with the Manager.
c)Identifying and making recommendations to improve work processes as applicable
d)Supports the organization by contributing to the management of one or more administrative aspects of the
business
e) Training and mentoring Consultant Analysts during their assignments
f) Any other duties as may be assigned by the supervisor
Knowledge and skills required
The job holder must possess the following skills:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Business Management, Economics or related field from a recognized
University;
2. Professional qualification in either the following disciplines: CPA, ACCA. CIMA or CFA; OR any other related
discipline
3. Membership of good standing with ICPAK/ACCA or professional body
4. Relevant experience of at least five (5) years
5. Analytical and proficiency in financial modelling
6. Keen interest in current financial trends and market
7. Demonstrated experience in use of computerized accounting systems
8. Must be proficient in MS Office Suites
9. Attention to detail and the ability to work logically, consistently and accurately
10. Excellent numeracy skills combined with an inquiring, analytical mind
11. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
12. Good report writing, presentation skills and analytical skills
