“HQE approach &
tertiary buildings”
For their development in France, the company LR SERVICES
constructed their seventh logistics platform at the Haut Villé
industrial park near Beauvais.
This new distribution center, operational since the third quarter of
2005, is installed in a tri-temperature (dry, fresh and frozen)
warehouse with a surface area of 9,648 m².
LR SERVICES decided to adapt an
®
HQE approach to this operation
because of their corporate sense of
environmental stewardship. This is a
voluntary commitment by LR SERVICES
to environmental protection in the
broadest sense of the term.

Energy Management
 Focus on cold production
systems, which represent 75%
of the primary energy
consumption at the platform.
 Warehouse solutions
- Cold production via an NH3
ammonia compression system
with CO2 distribution
- Installation equipped to recover
heat given off by condenser to
heat dry warehouse in order to
maintain a winter antifreeze
level of +7°C
- Installation controlled by a
Centralized Technical system,
providing thermal regulation,
user comfort, and energy
savings.
 Presence detection system in
areas with variable occupancy
(eg locker rooms, break areas)
so as to reduce time lights are
on.
Water management
 Pollution basin and storm basin
to minimize leak flow.
 Recovery of all rain water in a
pollution basin that can be
isolated in case of pollution.
 Oil separator treatment of road
runoff
 Installation of water-saving
systems: infrared-controlled
single-unit faucets, toilets
equipped with 3/6-liter double-
flush mechanisms, faucets with
timed automatic shutoff in
showers, spray aerators.
