TASK

 Check the corrections and comments that I have put in your file in the Google Drive. Edit the
changes that you have to make and work on the additional parts of the Chapter 1 and some parts of
Chapter 2.
FIRST DAY
1. SIGNIFICANCE OF THE STUDY
 What is the general contribution of your study?
 Who can benefit from your study and state why?

2. THEORETICAL LENS
 Look for a theory that can support the claims that you have in your research.
 This particular theory will act as a foundation of this research, at the same time, it is something that
you will somehow test— after your findings, you will see whether the theory applies to your
research results.

3. SCOPE AND DELIMITATION

 Contains the explanation of what information or subject is being analysed/ used.
 It is followed by an explanation of the limitation of the research.
 Scope refers to Sample Size, Time, and Geographic Area
 Delimitation is the description of the scope, explanation why some aspects of subjects were chosen
and why others were excluded.
4. DEFINITION OF TERMS
 Partially look for difficult or technical terms found in your study, especially some uncommon words
* These are your expected output. At the end of the day, the file in my Google Drive should have been changed
to a new one with these ^ additional portions.
* Each portion has an equivalent of 5 points—and a total of 20 points for this task. This will be recorded.
* The basis of grading your Significance will be on the relevance of the study to your beneficiaries, and whether
you have explained the reason well.
* The basis of grading the Theoretical Lens will be on how you introduced the theory and how you related it on
your study.
* The basis of grading the Scope will be on the specificity of the needed details like the Sample Size that you
need, or your target population, the place/location where you are going to conduct a study.
* The basis of grading the Definition of Terms would be on how clear you defined the unfamiliar words.
TASK

By now, you should be ready to collect your data. But before that, you have to decide whether you’re
going to conduct an Individual In-depth Interview or Focus Group Interview.
Together with the interview, you should be equipped with the appropriate interview questions to
generate desired data from your research participants.
Go back to your Research Questions and formulate at least 2-3 interview questions so that you can
generate themes for your Thematic Analysis.
