WHY OUR FLOOR KITS ARE SO

EASY TO INSTALL
The 2 reasons everyone says our floor kits are so easy to install is because our
Metallic Epoxy resin is a living, flowing resin during its curing process. Our resin
is more fluid than any other resin on the market, making it easier to self-level,
creating that natural look of blended colors without the installer needing an

measure out every gallon.
PREPPING THE SUBSTRATE OR SURFACE
One of the best ways to prep your surface is diamond grinding. You can rent
concrete grinders at most rental stores. The next best way is using an etching
chemical to etch the surface of the concrete. You can also sand the surface if
the before mentioned methods can’t be done. If you can only prep minimally
or can’t prep at all we have a Prep Replacement Primer to help achieve a
strong bond. We always recommend prepping the concrete surface first.
PREPPING THE SUBSTRATE OR SURFACE PRIMER COAT

Priming the floor is simple and fast. Mix your pre-measured primer then
dip and roll the pigmented primer across the surface until the floor is
completely pigmented. Wait 1 hr (or until tacky and not coming off to the
touch) and start applying the Base Coat.
METALLIC EPOXY COAT

Applying the Base Coat and Highlights is the funnest part. Mix your
pre-measured Base Coat, pour it out across the floor and begin to spread
out the epoxy with your rubber squeegee getting it as even as you can. Our
Epoxy self-levels so don’t worry about getting it perfectly even. Quickly roll

over the surface with your paint roller to help even out the epoxy. Now mix
your pre-measured highlight color and apply it to the base color, then blend
it to your desired look.
HIGH WEAR TOP COAT

We offer 2 different gloss sheens in our Urethane Top Coat. The Top Coat
comes with the option to have a High Gloss or Satin Finish. It needs to be
rolled out super thin and leaves a minor texture which gives it the extra
durability. Apply it within 24 hrs of installing your floor kit or you will need
to sand the surface before applying it.

DISPERSING EFFECTS
Designed to create unique effects in the epoxy
surface by mixing any of our metallic pigment with
91% or higher isoprophyl alcohol. Once sprayed
onto the surface of our epoxy it will disperse the
surface creating dynamic looks, colors and cells. Mix
ratio is 3 teaspoons of metallic powder to 15 fl oz of
isopropyl alcohol.
DECAL LOGOS, STICKERS
AND PICTURES
It’s simple, all you need to do is go to your local vinyl decal
shop and have them print your logo, sticker or picture with an
adhesive backing (just like stickers are made). Before you apply
your top coat, place your decal or picture on the epoxy surface
and apply your Urethane Top Coat right over it. Now you have a
custom logo or picture in your floor that’s protected by our High
Wear Urethane Top Coat.

FLOOR KITS OVER TILE

Applying our Floor Kits over tile is also simple. Scuff up the tile surface then apply
our Prep Replacement Primer that will chemically bond to your tile. Then apply our
Pigmented Primer. After the primer dries, apply your flood coat to level out the floor and
you’re ready to apply your Metallic Epoxy Coat.
FLOOR KITS OVER WOOD
Applying our Floor Kits over wood is also easy. Bondo any seams or gaps with Bondo’s
multi-purpose putty. Using 80 grit sandpaper, smooth out the Bondo then vacuum and
clean the floor. Now you’re ready to apply your floor kit.

THE SUBSTRATE

sanded (80-100 Grit) then wiped clean. Granite and Marble will need the
sealer removed. Tile will need the grout lines filled with Bondo and sanded
smooth before applying our Countertop Kits.
EPOXY PRIMER COAT

Priming the Countertops is simple and fast. Mix your pre-measured
primer then dip and roll the pigmented primer across the surface until the FINISHED COUNTERTOPS
countertop surface is completely covered. Wait 1 hr. (or until tacky and not
coming off to the touch) and start applying the Base Coat.
METALLIC EPOXY COAT

Applying the Base Coat and Highlights is the funnest part. Mix your
pre-measured Base Coat and pour it out over the countertop surfaces and

THE COUNTERTOP KIT
HIGH HEAT TESTED

The Epoxy we use for countertops is different than our Floor Epoxy because
it needs to stand up to High Heat whereas floors do not. This is a special
mix created by our chemists. It’s rated for up to 400 degrees without being
affected. Even having this Heat Resistant Coating on your countertop, we still
highly recommend treating them like any other high end counter top and
using hot pads on the surface when setting down hot items.
HIGH HEAT TESTING
SCRATCH RESISTANCE TESTED

Our resin is created using the most refined, high quality raw materials you
can buy making it an industrial grade resin. After 24 hours our resin will be
rock hard, after 48 hours ready for daily use. After 7 days our resin will be fully
cured making it the most scratch resistant epoxy on the market. When you
add our High Wear Top Coat for added durability and scratch resistance, you
will have the most durable surface that you can get with resins.

COUNTERTOP KITS OVER FORMICA
Applying our kits over Formica is simple. Using 60, 80, or 100 grit sandpaper, scuff up the
Formica including the edges and faces. Vacuum and wipe clean with Denatured Alcohol
and you’re ready to apply your kit.

COUNTERTOP KITS OVER TILE

Applying our kits over tile is also simple. Bondo the grout lines on the top and edges.
Using 60 grit sandpaper, smooth out the Bondo and scuff up the tiles. Vacuum and wipe
clean with Denatured Alcohol and you’re ready to apply your kit.
COUNTERTOP KITS OVER WOOD
Applying our kits over wood is also easy. Bondo any seams or gaps on the top and
edges. Using 100 grit sandpaper, smooth out the Bondo. Vacuum and wipe clean with
Denatured Alcohol and you’re ready to apply your kit.
BUILDING COUNTERTOPS FROM SCRATCH

Applying our kits over pre-made countertops is awesome because you can make
your countertops any shape, length, and even choose how thick the edges look.
You can use MDF, particle board, or plywood; just make sure the top is smooth.
Once you build your Countertops, Bondo all your seams and screw holes, then
sand them smooth. Vacuum countertop and wipe clean. Now you’re ready for
your Countertop Kit.
DECAL LOGOS, STICKERS
AND PICTURES
It’s simple, all you need to do is go to your local vinyl decal
shop and have them print your logo, sticker or picture with an
adhesive backing, just like stickers are made. Before you apply
your topcoat place your decal or picture on the epoxy surface
and apply your Glaze Coat or Urethane Top Coat right over
