List # 1 - 2005
I have decided to reduce my collection of playing cards with, as a beginning, about 500 packs. These 500
will be offered for sale in three lists with an interval of 3-4 months during 2005. This first list contain
packs of mainly newer date, i.e, from the second half of the 20th century.
The descriptions are based upon information I noted on my file cards at the time, I acquired the
decks. I have not attempted to correct this information or add later information. Thus some details
may not be quite correct or up-to-date. Some dates given are estimated. Further and/or larger scans
can be supplied if needed.
The condition of the decks are categorized as mint, fine, good, reasonable or bad. Mint does in this
connection mean, that the decks have not been used for card playing, but only have functioned in a
collection. The condition relates to the cards themselves, boxes may have sign of wear. Some boxes have
a collection identification mark, a small rubber stamp discretly placed, often on the inside of the card-
board box flap and/or they have a written identification numbers, likewise discretely placed. Such
markings are not mentioned in the list’s description. If this is a problem for you, ask before you order.
Prices are listed in EUR. Payment by Paypal or by IBAN transfer (within Europe). Otherwise ask.
Actual postage will be added. Normal size playing cards cost for 1-2 packs about EUR4.- (Europe) or
EUR6.- (outside Europe). Four packs cost EUR 6.-/EUR9.- respectively. Larger boxes and special
(heavy) items will cost more. Postage is free on orders over EUR 200 (except heavy magazine/book
orders). Registered mail (optional), add EUR 7. Do not send payment with order. Response will be given
3 days or earlier after receipt of order.
