GCSO LAW ENFORCEMENT SUMMARY


FEBRUARY 10, 2020 – FEBRUARY 16, 2020

On Monday, February 10, Deputy G. Desrosier was dispatched to Pinnacle Drive on Cape
San Blas to investigate a burglary report. The victim reported several pieces of jewelry
missing from inside the home. There were no signs of forced entry. The case remains
under investigation.

On Monday, February 10, Deputy B. McCorvey executed an arrest warrant on Sailfish


Street by arresting Nicholas Arron McLendon (27) on a warrant for failing to appear in
court on the original charge of DWLS/R.

On Monday, February 10, the GCSO transported Loren Michael Siprell (37) from the
Franklin County Jail to the Gulf County Detention Facility to be booked on a warrant for
Violation of Probation. Siprell is on probation for credit card fraud.

On Tuesday, February 11, Deputy S. Alday, responded to a report of a disturbance on


Victoria Avenue. Deputy Alday encountered a subject acting odd, claiming that he was a
"god." The subject was identified as Darien Nathen Hutcheson (41). While speaking with
Hutcheson, Deputy Alday found that Hutcheson had a small baggie of methamphetamine
in his pocket. Hutcheson was placed under arrest and charged with Possession of
Methamphetamine.

On Tuesday, February 11, Deputy B. McCorvey conducted a traffic stop on Jonson Lane in
Wewahitchka. During the traffic stop, Deputy McCorvey learned that the driver,
identified as Jeremy Ray Hall (25), had a suspended driver’s license for failing to pay traffic
fines. Hall was placed under arrest and charged with DWLS/R. A passenger in the vehicle,
identified as Jason Ivey Weathers (33), was found to be in possession of
methamphetamine. Weathers was placed under arrest and charged with Possession of
Methamphetamine and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

On Wednesday, February 12, Deputy B. McCorvey executed an arrest warrant on Palm


Street in Wewahitchka by arresting Joseph Dale Garner (35) on a warrant for Violation of
Probation. Garner was on probation for Possession of Methamphetamine.

On Wednesday, February 12, Deputy B. McCorvey executed an arrest warrant on Sailfish
Street by arresting Janet Nicole Barefoot (32). Barefoot was wanted for Violation of
Probation on the original charge of Animal Cruelty. Deputy McCorvey executed another
arrest warrant in the vicinity on Victoria Avenue by arresting Robert Charles House (50)
on a Violation of Probation warrant, also for Animal Cruelty.

On Thursday, February 13, deputies with the GCSO assisted the Bay County Sheriff's Office
locate a vehicle that was stolen from Mexico Beach the night before. GCSO deputies
located the vehicle in a wooded area located off Avenue A in Port St. Joe. Two subjects
in the area of the stolen vehicle were observed fleeing from law enforcement. The
subjects were apprehended and identified as Ruben Jonathan Rangel-Vasquez (16) and
Emily Bridgett Bonn. Vasquez and Bonn were linked to the stolen vehicle as well as
burglaries in Bay County. Bonn is a reported missing runaway from Lee County and is also
wanted out of Lee County on felony warrants. Vasquez is wanted in Collier County for
felony warrants also.

On Thursday, February 13, Deputy J. Page responded to Myers Road to investigate a


report of a physical disturbance between co-inhabitants. Shon Lewis Harrison (33) and
Faith Mariah Hodge (29) were identified as the combatants in the disturbance and both
were arrested and charged with Domestic Battery.

On Friday, February 14, Deputy B. McCorvey responded to a report of a physical


disturbance on Victoria Avenue in Highland View. It was reported that Robert Charles
House (50) had struck a man in the face with his fists and then threatened the man with
a kitchen knife. The victim was able to get away from House and House fled the scene on
foot. Deputy McCorvey later located House walking along Amberjack Avenue. When
House saw the marked patrol car he fled again on foot. Deputy McCorvey chased House
and was able to apprehend him. House was charged with Battery, Aggravated Assault
and Resisting Law Enforcement without Violence.

On Friday, February 14, Deputy S. Alday arrested Joseph Daniel Turner (34) for DWLS/R
while investigating a traffic accident near the intersection of Hwy 98 and Santa Anna
Street.

On Friday, February 14, Sgt. S. Ferrell executed an arrest warrant on 4 th Street in


Wewahitchka by arresting Vicki Wood Trickey (59). Trickey was wanted for Trespassing
and Criminal Mischief as a result of an incident reported to the GCSO on October 14, 2019,
At E. Creekview Drive in Wewahitchka.

On Friday, February 14, Sgt. D. Sanders was dispatched to W. Creekview Drive in reference
to a physical disturbance. As a result of the investigation, Wayne Harold Luebe (68) was
placed under arrest and charged with Battery.

On Friday, February 14, Deputy B. McCorvey executed an arrest warrant on David
Whitfield Road by arresting Donnie Roy Waters (53). Water was wanted for Violation of
Probation on the original charges of DWLS/R and Attaching Tag Not Assigned.

On Saturday, February 15, Deputy Sheline was dispatched to a residence on Lister Drive
to investigate a verbal disturbance. The disturbance involved Phillip Maxwell Fleming (29)
was refusing to leave property belonging to another person. Fleming, who was
intoxicated, was given a warning by law enforcement to leave the property but Fleming
still refused to leave. Fleming was placed under arrest and charged with Trespass After
Warning. Fleming resisted arrest so he was also charged with Resisting Arrest without
Violence.
