The SI models only offer Standard International units(Metric), they will not show inches, feet,
degrees in Fahrenheit, etc. The SI models meet Japanese government requirements and will be
the only version sold in Japan.
The support file, SA002372.zip contains schematics, board layout, a Performance Verification
procedure. Theory of Operation and a tool for finding a service password that will provide access
to the Cal mode when the customer does not know the password they set.
The 753 and 754 will have a Calibration Manual that can be downloaded from the Fluke web
site. The Verification procedure in the zip file is the draft procedure. It has written connections
instruction, the Calibration Manual will have connection drawings. The TC steps continue to
suggest using a lag bath, this is a complex connection, refer to the drawings in the 74x
Calibration manual for drawings of the lag bath connection. Labs can evaluate connecting
directly from the 75x to the 552xA, but the TURs are low.
Now the 753 and 754 will show a Cal-date at power up that is set in the cal menu. After a unit
has passed verification, the date can be updated in the calibration menu. In the Calibration Menu
there are now 4 built in adjustment procedures, each records the date of the last adjustment. The
75x does have a calibration count that is the total of the adjustment procedures that passed. A
password is required to get into the Cal mode. Design made a tool that allows service to bypass
the Password the customer set for Cal mode. F75xOverrideCalPassword.exe has a SN box,
when the SN is entered in this box the password box shows a password that will give access to
the Cal mode.
Theory of operation refers to flow drawings that show what the important signal pats are in
various modes. These are the Wallxxxx.pdf drawings, these drawings are from earlier version of
the PCAs, do not use them to determine component value.
