Let’s listen and discuss( Page 147)

 Read the conversation about a holiday plan.
2. Discuss.
 The place they have visited.
 Where did they stay?
 What did they do while they were there?
 How did they feel about the trip?
 Where would they like to go next?

Get to know the poem
The poem is a poem in rhyme about building a sandcastle.

1. Teacher asks questions about the poem.

 Ex: Who are the major characters?
What are they doing?
2. Identify and interpret difficult words, figurative, metaphors, and similes,
idiomatic.

Practise the poem
1. Teacher recites the poem and pupils listen.
2. Recite the poem, as a class, in group, in pair, as individually.
3. Practise in group.
 Perform the poem based on their creativity.
 List all the things the poet mentions which tell you he went to the
seaside.

Demonstrate the poem
1. Draw tow pictures to illustrate what you understood by stanzas 3 and 4.
