 Amylnitrite Glass Capsules for Inhalation - relieve the pain of angina attacks. It works by relaxing
blood vessels and increasing the supply of blood and oxygen to the heart while reducing its workload.

 Atropine sulfate 0.4g/mL - cardiopulmonary resuscitation: to treat symptomatic bradycardia and

AV block

 Caffeine Sodium Benzoate 0.5g/2mL - treat respiratory depression associated with overdosage
with CNS depressant drugs

 Calcium Gluconate 1g/10mL – used against hydrofluoric acid skin exposure or poisoning;
hypocalcemia induced by various agents

 Digoxin 0.25mg/mL - increases left ventricular ejection fraction and improves heart failure
symptoms

 Diphenyldydantoin Sodium 50mg/mL - anticonvulsant because it works by controlling the

overactivity in the brain that can cause epilepsy or seizures

 Epinephrine HCl 1mg/mL - generally used IM/subcutaneous for anaphylactic reactions and the
preparation of epinephrine infusions

 Heparin 10,000 units – to treat and prevent blood clots.

 Hydrocortisone 100mg - use in

emergency situations involving status asthmaticus and acute allergic reactions, including
anaphylactic reaction to drugs

 Magnesium Sulfate Injection 10%, 50% - is indicated for immediate control of life-threatening
convulsions in the treatment of severe toxemias (pre-eclampsia and eclampsia) of pregnancy and in
the treatment of acute nephritis in children

 Isopreoterenol 1:100 – used in allergic asthma to relieve attacks

 Mannitol Injection 25% - used to help your body produce more urine. This medicine is used in

administration of narcotic analgesics to the mother

 Neostigmine Methyl Sulfate 0.25mg/mL – a cholinesterase inhibitor, is indicated for the reversal
of the effects of non-depolarizing neuromuscular blocking agents (NMBAs) after surgery

 Norepinephrine Injection - used to treat life-threatening low blood pressure (hypotension) that can
occur with certain medical conditions or surgical procedures

 Pentobarbitone 50mg/mL - is used as an emergency treatment for seizures, and to cause patients
to fall asleep for surgery

years old, it is also used as part of anesthesia for surgery.

 Phenylephrine HCl 10mg/mL - is used to treat patients with hypoperfusion and/or shock states due
to vasodilation with coexistent, significant tachycardia

 Picrotoxin – used internally for relieving respiratory distress. Also for use as an antidote in poisoning by
CNS depressants, especially barbiturates.

 Procainamide - is indicated for the treatment of documented ventricular arrhythmias, such as

sustained ventricular tachycardia, that, in the judgement of the physician, are life-threatening

 Protamine Sulfate 20mg/mL – it acts as a heparin antagonist. It is also a weak anticoagulant.
