Design Kit Installation in ADS

The design kit is delivered as a zipped file. Unzip the design kit CGHV22300.zip to your ADS
Workspace 2011 or latter.
The model icon for the CGHV22300 will be placed on the RF palette. The device
is brought into a schematic view in the same manner as other devices from the RF
palette.

Design Kit Installation in ADS

The source lead is available as well, the Rth and Tbase may be user modified. The default values
are set per the date sheet are Rth 0.31°C/W and Tbase at 25°C. There are optional video bias
drain ports brought out of the device package as well. The S parameters have been captured with
these ports terminated in 50 W. The user should provide proper DC and RF connections to
these ports if used.

Device Model Features… Internal access to intrinsic
drain Voltage and Current. Dynamic Load Line provision
Measurement parameters vdi, idi and Tj provide dynamic load line characterization while Tj
provides junction temperature rise. These elements are added through the Plot Traces & Attributes
