Introduction
What is Build It YourWay?
In the KBA’s quest to provide our sponsors with the absolute best value and experience when sponsoring a KBA event,
we have developed an entirely new sponsorship program to better meet your needs. Build It YourWay is a fully
customizable sponsorship plan that allows your company to design their own sponsorship within the framework of the
KBA’s annual events. We have developed new levels of annual sponsorships which are the building blocks for your entire
sponsorship campaign. Once you select a level of annual sponsorship, you can begin to select add-ons for each KBA
event to include in your YourWay sponsorship plan. The new Build It YourWay program gives you the freedom to build
a sponsorship plan that best meets your company’s marketing strategy and initiatives.

KBA Annual Events
What are the Big Ticket KBA Annual Events?
The KBA hosts several events throughout the calendar year. The two that are included in the annual sponsorship are:
Spring Conference and Convention. The KBA also has several events that can be selected as add-ons to your annual
sponsorship plan. These events include, but are not limited to: Group Meetings, KBPAC Annual Golf Extravaganza,
Bankers Day in Frankfort and Day at the Downs.

Spring Conference
The Spring Conference is held every Spring. It brings together bank officers, executives and directors to cover hot topics
in the banking industry. It is typically a 3 day event including a golf tournament, evening receptions and numerous timely
speakers.

Annual Convention
The KBA has been hosting an annual convention for the past 119 years. The convention is our largest event of the year
and brings together bankers from all across Kentucky. The location alternates each year between an in-state site and an
out of state venue. There is an annual golf tournament, timely speakers, several receptions and a closing banquet during
the convention.

KBA Annual Event Add-ons
What KBA Events are available as Add-ons to my YourWay Plan?
There are four other annual KBA events that can be added to your YourWay sponsorship plan. These events are: Group
Meetings, KBPAC Golf Extravaganza, Bankers Day in Frankfort and Day at the Downs. The pricing to add these events
to your YourWay plan are on the upcoming pages.

Group Meetings
Group meetings bring together KBA member bankers from specific regions of Kentucky to discuss timely legislative and
industry topics in a central location to their region. The morning meetings are followed up with lunch and an afternoon
golf tournament. Sponsorship for these events are limited to one sponsor per location. The opportunity to sponsor all 8
group meetings is also available at a discounted rate.

KBPAC Golf Extravaganza

For the past four years the KBA has hosted a golf tournament for our political action committee. The event is held in-
state and draws bankers from Paducah to Pikeville to compete in the tournament and network with their banking peers.
The day is filled with fun activities that provide the bankers several opportunities to win great prizes and enjoy a day
on the course. There are several sponsorship opportunities available for this event as add-ons to your annual sponsorship
plan.

Bankers Day in Frankfort

Bankers Day in Frankfort is an annual event in which the KBA invites bankers to visit the Capitol with them to meet with
the Banking Committee and elected officials. The legislative process is reviewed with the bankers. There is one exclusive
add-on sponsorship available for this event.

KBA Day at the Downs

Day at the Downs is held on the Thursday before the Kentucky Derby at Churchill Downs in a Jockey Club Suite. We
have three sponsorships available for this event as add-ons to your annual sponsorship plan. Each sponsor will receive
ten tickets to invite Kentucky bankers of their choosing. The day is full of races, good food and great memories.

Group Meeting Add-ons
Group Meetings
The KBA hosts annual Group Meetings every year in May. The meetings bring together bankers from specific regions of
the state to discuss relevant industry and legislative topics. The meetings typically start between 9 - 10 a.m. Immediately
following the meeting there is a luncheon and a golf tournament. Sponsorship covers the entirety of the meeting.
Sponsorship of these meetings is exclusive ensuring that you will be the only vendor present at the event that day.
Sponsor will have signage at the event and receive a golf registration at the meeting as well.

There are 8 meetings available for sponsorship. They will be sold on a first-come, first-served basis.

The opportunity to be the sole sponsor for all 8 meetings is also available, but must be secured before any other
meetings are chosen for sponsorship.

Bankers Day in Frankfort
Bankers Day in Frankfort is a KBA event that is held each year in February or March. The day brings bankers from
all across the state together to visit with state legislators and review the legislative process in Frankfort. There is one
exclusive sponsorship available for this event. Your sponsorship gives you exclusive access to the bankers in attendance
and helps to cover the cost of lunch and refreshments. Your company will be recognized as the sole sponsor via signage
at lunch and in The Kentucky Banker.
