Good leaders

don’t just lead.

They inspire
other leaders.

XLRI Jamshedpur
Senior Leadership Programme (XSLP)
“If your actions inspire others to dream more, learn more, do more and
become more, you are a leader.”
– John Quincy Adams

In an era of hyper-competition and non-stop disruption, the only way to stand out from the
crowd is to stand for something innovative. The true mark of a leader is the courage to take a
bold course of action and see it through. Also, leaders instill in their people a hope for success
and a belief in themselves. Positive leaders empower people to accomplish their goals. To
paraphrase Ralph Waldo Emerson, leaders do not follow where the path may lead. Instead,
they go where there is no path and leave a trail.

Programme Overview
The Senior Leadership Programme designed by Xavier Institute of Management, Jamshedpur
(XSLP), is a one-year immersive management education programme designed specifically for
senior executives with at least 10 years of managerial experience. The programme is designed
to equip participants skills related to effective communication of strategy, negotiation, abilities
to influence team behaviour and manage team results. In a senior role, it’s crucial that one has
the right blend of soft skills and a strategic mindset to achieve specific performance outcomes
at one’s organisation. The XSLP equips one with the critical skills to lead one’s organisation
to success. XSLP is ideal for senior managers and proven business leaders with the zeal to
accelerate both organisational and personal growth.
