EXERCISE 1

1. Most child prodigies seem to be influenced by their parents.

I think so, too. If you ask me, some parents put too much pressure on t
heir children.

2. From what I understand, a child can develop special skills u

p to four or five years.

When a child has special abilities, the child eventually develops h

is talent whether he sometimes learns it and sometimes develops
it.

3. I think anyone could become a prodigy with enough work, ri

ght?

I think we are all capable of developing a capable IQ at the level

of others, only that we are not sufficiently applied.

4. I bet the high performers are always happy.

I think not always, because many times they feel pressured to do

everything right and their same coefficient demands that instead
of having fun playing, they prefer to invest time in study activities.

5. I think it is not healthy for young children to get involved in j
ust one area.

It is absolutely not healthy because children should be involved in

several areas until they find where they feel best.

6. I don't think Shenk is right when he says there is an interacti

on between our genes and our environment.

I think that if he affirms it, it is because there are studies that prov
e his theory.
