With the aid of several activities, the students should be able to do the following
with 85% of proficiency:
1. distinguish the different types of geological hazards;
2. locate the nearest fault line and volcanoes in locality/region based on the Philippine
Faultline System;
3. demonstrate the do’s and don’ts before, during and after the earthquake
4. create a brochure promoting/ advertising preparedness and disaster risk reduction.

animations), video clips (downloaded from youtube.com),
pictures/illustrations of the geographical feature of the
region/community (captured via google earth app), and
electronic timer.
Other Materials: Chalk, blackboard and activity notebook.
