WELLSIGHT™ v4.5 Software

Data Capture, Reporting, Monitoring, Tracking, Reconciling
and Export Software

WELLSIGHT™ 4.5 software is utilized to manage the

technical information captured from the Baroid Fluid WELLSIGHT™ 2000
Services operations. The information generated by drilling
fluids engineers is continuously transferred to Baroid office Drilling Fluids

information and use it to analyze drilling conditions,
product performance and potential technology gaps.
The WELLSIGHT application is designed to allow the field
engineer full access to offset well histories at the rig site and
to have data and produce reports in electronic form.

Benchmark Against Zero Defects Standardized Reports

The application allows the user to record and track all
relevant drilling fluids information comparing it against our
Zero Defects set during the planning stage (HIPS). These
parameters are monitored during course of the service on a
daily, per interval and per well basis.
Baroid’s Zero Defects feature identifies programmed
minimum and maximum values for fluid properties as each
interval is drilled. If an actual fluid property goes outside the
planned set range, an indicator alarms the user when
creating the daily reports.

Daily Information

HAL22195
The information collected daily includes lithologies, surveys,
wellbore geometry, bit and bottomhole assembly information,
mud property checks, volume accounting, hydraulics
calculations, inventory tracking, cost allocation for products
and engineering, solids control equipment, chemical
concentrations, operational issues and treatment discussions.
Daily reports can be generated for any of the topics listed
above and shared with operational personnel to facilitate
decision making.

HALLIBURTON
End of Well Recap
The information captured over the course of the entire well
is classified. Well intervals are identified based on drilling
activity in order to produce the end of well recap.
After a final review of the information, WELLSIGHT
software generates the recap report calculating volumes,
costs, product consumption, fluid types used in any of the
defined intervals.

Graphic Generator for Trend Analysis

HAL22197
The graph designer allows both standard and customized
graphs to be built. Multiple parameters including the
lithology column can be displayed together to aid in visual
trend analysis.

Report Manager
The system is able to provide both field and office reports.
Field engineers can provide daily and summary reports as
well as draft copies of the Post-Well Audit. Specific
customer-oriented reports can be generated from the
database for multi-well analysis as required. In conjunction

HAL22198
with the customer, Baroid is able to design formal reports of
performance measurements that can be printed as required
on a daily, monthly, quarterly and yearly basis.

Better Data Capture,

Improved Communications
• WELLSIGHT software captures, monitors and tracks
data, then allows the user to filter the information for
better decision making. WELLSIGHT software provides
the right information, in the right place, the right
format, and the right time.
• WELLSIGHT software efficacy improves with use.
Information sources will expand and the cycle will
