MARKETING RESEARCH GROUP GUIDELINES

Step 1: Choose a Topic


Each group has the opportunity to choose a topic that is interesting and stimulating.
Example:
 Network preference of Professors of your school
 Shoe or bag brands preferred by BSBA students of you school
 Snacks preferred by students available in your school
Step 2: Develop a research proposal
This research proposal will include the research objectives and outline of your research design
Step 3: Data Collection
During this step in the process, you will prepare for data collection and do the field work
necessary to collect the data.
1. Write the questionnaire
2. Pre-test questionnaire
3. Make revisions to the questionnaire, if necessary, based on the pretest.
4. Conduct interviews (minimum of 25 respondents)
