Start preparing for interview. GATE score is given 60 % weightage. Rest 40 % you will have to score
in interview. If you have good GATE score then your chances of selection are better. Let date of
interview come. Will guide everyone depending on profile you have applied . Till then prepare as told

ONGC keeps waitlist also so if you have got call then prepare very well as you have chance of
selection. Many candidates don't join later due to multiple selection so those who have got call try to
convert it as all seats are filled by ONGC.

There will be total of 150 questions. (120 Technical + 30 Non Technical)
Technical questions are from GATE previous years mostly. But you have to prepare IES and ISRO
previous papers also.
The exam is mostly similar to ISRO and BARC exam level
Questions will be of very simple level ... Some questions will need calculations .. better to skip them
or if you have memorized answer of GATE then you will be able to tick it fast ..
Some questions would be there which you would have never studied .. better to mark them and do
them at last ..
THERE IS NO CLEAR CUT PATTERN OF IMPORTANT SUBJECTS OF BEL .. SO DO MOST OF
THE SUBJECTS TO SCORE MORE
Revise formulae well and don't forget to memorize answers ..
