Expected Cut off :K J Somaiya has not prescribed any minimum cut offs in the admission process. It
depends upon the quality & number of applications received and varies from year to year for

The highest domestic salary in placement 2018-20 stood at Rs.27.5 Lakhs and the average
domestic salary was Rs.10.5 Lakhs. Over 170 companies visited the campus in Placement
2018-20 including 35 new recruiters.

If the candidate has applied for Phase-1 profile-based Shortlisting and has not been
considered will be considered again for phase-2 non-profile-based shortlisting. No
need to apply again
A candidate will be considered for phase-2 shortlisting even without extra-curricular
activities, work experience
Mere fulfillment of minimum eligibility criteria will not ensure consideration for
short listing for next stage of Admissions process

Placement Record
The highest domestic salary in placement 2018 stood at Rs.12.4 Lakhs and the average
domestic salary was Rs.9.91 Lakhs. Over 358 companies visited the campus in Placement
2018 including 50 new recruiters.
Admission Criteria
Candidates short-listed for GD-PI round from among the eligible candidates should
participate in the Group Activity and Personal Interview on the designated date at the
designated center from among Mumbai, Bengaluru, Delhi and Kolkata.

Note : Please note that apart from K J Somaiya and Wellingkars, the other colleges haven’t yet
announced their PGDM processes for this year. We are sharing the processes followed last year for
your reference. But the processes to be followed this year will be clear only after the colleges
make the announcements on their websites. So kindly visit their websites on a regular basis.
Also, SIESCOMS has announced the date for the start of the process : 6 th Jan 2020. But when we
spoke to them, they said these are tentative dates and will be confirmed only when the
advertisement is out.
PGDM (Pharma and Biotech) would be considered as one program for the purpose of
application fees.

The Highest salary offered by recruiters stood at Rs 18.00 LPA; Average salary at Rs 7.14
lacsLPA. The lowest salary is Rs 4.50 LPA. So far 267 companies have visited SIESCOMS
campus for recruitment.
Admission Criteria
Final admission round at SIESCOMS, Mumbai will consist of Case Analysis, Group
Discussion and personal Interview
For the Case Analysis, GD-PI round, there are 11 centres which are SIESCOMS
campus, Navi Mumbai; Delhi; Jaipur; Bengaluru; Bhopal; Nagpur; Ahmadabad;
Kolhapur; Kolkata; Lucknow and Patna
You can select the GD PI Centre as per the scheduled dates at the city while filling up
application form for admission
The GD/PI process for PGDM admission would be held from March 10 to March 24,
2019 at different Centres (for the 1st stage)
SIESCOMS final selection is based on the merit list which will be prepared after final
admission round by awarding 40% weight to Entrance exam score; 5% weight to
Case Analysis; 5% weight to Group Discussion (GD); 35% weight to Personal
Interview; 10% weight to Academics; 5% Weight to Work Experience.

Admission Criteria
The institute selects students on the basis of the entrance exam scores as mentioned above.
A merit list will release on the basis of the scores obtained in the entrance exams. In
addition to that, academic performance, extracurricular activities will also have a weightage.

website. Following that Group Discussion and Personal Interview round takes place to select
students for final admission.
Eligibility –

Placement Record
IEC has a list of more than 200 recruiters to its credit. Companies like Mahindra and
Mahindra, CRISIL, Barclays, Mahindra Finance, L&T Finance include the list. Highest salary
offered at IEC was Rs.8.5 lacs and average salary was 4.00 Lacs.
Admission Criteria
Maximum weightage score will be of 500 marks. Five different parameters with varying
weightage will be the key criteria for admission. Entrance test score will have a weightage of
175 marks (35% of total weightage); Class 10th and class 12th marks will have weightage of
25 Marks each, i.e. 5 percent marks. Then there will be GD (5%), Essay writing (5%),
Psychometric test (20%), PI (20%) and Work Experience (5%). The final score will thus be
arrived at and the merit list will be prepared accordingly. Eligible candidates will be
informed regarding the GDPI dates after 5th April 2019. Tentatively, the rounds are
scheduled to start post 20th April.
