4.1 Company Profile

4.2 Job Analysis

In this section, our group conducted an interview with three employees from Human
Capital Management and Command Media division in PT. PAL Indonesia. Every
employee in the company works from 8 AM to 4.30 PM and in an indoor location. Based
on our observation, the employees working condition is comfortable and supportive,
especially considering PT PAL is a huge company, and that according to them the
environment makes it work hard for them to do their job well. Every employee has the
right in decision making, especially if it’s affecting their divisions. Each actions taken,
wether be it a simple error or a massive change, from one division will impact the others.
Key Index Performance is also a strategy which is implemented in this company and is
used to measure the performance of each employee. There’s a certain work indicators that
has to be met in order for an employee to get a promotion.

Overseeing daily business operations, developing and implementing growth
strategies, training low-level managers and staff, hiring employees, evaluating
performance and productivity.

Creating and revising job description, conducting annual salary surveys, planning
and coordinating the workforce to best use employees’ talents, and recommending
new policies , approaches, and procedures.

Consult with employers to identify needs and preffered qualifications, interview
applicants about their experience, education and skills, hire and refer qualified
candidates, conduct new employee orientations, and process the applicants files.

1 Professional is the main thing, you must be able to distinguish between personal and
work matters. When you can't distinguish between these two things there will be a
possibility where your work becomes messy.

2 Teamwork is one thing that must be owned by all sections in


company, even more so for the HR department which is closely related to other divisions.

3 Negotiation is a process when two parties make a process to reach an agreement or


mutual agreement that meets the satisfaction of the parties concerned.

4 As an HR Admin in PT. PAL you must be able to


understand the problem of what happened and how to solve it. Don't make the problem a
burden, but you have to find a solution to the problem. For example, a decline in the
performance of your employees, this is a problem for the HR team as well.
