Academic Background

My name is Tuji Yusuf Abdo a senior student from Haramaya University. I am expect to complete
my undergraduate studies in Mechanical engineering from “Haramaya Institute of Technology”,
Ethiopia, in July 2019, with CGPA 3.13 out of 4.00. I have passed all entrance tests conducted by
the academic institution of my education. I am done my final year thesis project on “Design of
solar powered multi-crop cutter and harvester” with the group of three members. While working
on this project I will found strong motivation in myself towards graduate study and research in the
area of solar power multi-crop machine. I have selected for 12 weeks internship in Hammares
Edible oil Share Company of Ethiopia. Where gained quality level knowledge and working
experience about transmission system in the company.

My Personality
Personally I am an adventurous person who loves visiting and fitting into new environments. I
enjoy meeting new people of diverse cultures because the experiences polish my interpersonal and
communication skills which I believe are the main things that contribute to my growth as a social
person. Keep a keen view of the reality of life thus approach people with positive mind and attitude
and always prove to be helpful with honest efforts and true dedication. Besides that, I always feel
very joyous and fortunate to meet and greet people belonging to different backgrounds and
cultures. As such meetings are always important because they proved to be beneficial in future
also it makes things easy to cope whether one works or studies in his own country or outside the
country.

Study Plan in China

I would like to apply for the Master Degree in Control theory and control engineering in China
because of my past internship and my final year project I come to know the vast practical
applications of the automation engineering, this caught my attention and created a thirst of
knowledge in me to study my chosen course. After completion of my master's studies I hope to be
able to take part in maximizing my country's economic research in such fields to benefit its policy
formulation and adjustments. This will contribute to a sound economy that will in turn improve
the poor living standards of the Ethiopian people.

Reasons to study in China

China's heavy investment in education has resulted in provision of high quality education and its
universities have high reputation which makes a great aspiration to the students and professionals
for the better career perspectives. Reading the books, watching the news, analyzing and observing
the people of China, I am really impressed by the way these Individuals have proved themselves
to be dedicated to their work and with true efforts they have set China a successful example for
other third world or developed countries. The fast-growing economy, technological advancement
and the global ranking education institutes of China with high reputation makes a great aspiration
to the students and professionals for the better career perspectives. Thus such kind of positivity
has boosted my confidence further and I am highly satisfied with the decision I have taken.
Moreover, China's diverse cultural and norms values, the famous gentle hospitality of its people
and Ethiopia-China all weather friendly relation since past to promote bilateral trade, acceptance
and peace to both sides in great clarity make me feel China my second homeland; also my family
fully support my choice for China being my preference for graduate studies. China will provide
me an opportunity to meet imminent researchers in this field and to be part of its research
community will allow me to acquire invaluable transferable skills which I can tailor and apply in
my country. All these reasons put together to make China an ideal place for me to do my Master’s
